Welcome to Magic Unique Treasures, a family-owned collector shop. We started our shop two and a half years ago as just collectors, right here on Etsy. A rare and one of kind mix of both a collector and a seller.

We bring you back to nostalgic times with a hard emphasis "our niche" the 90's and a few 80's mixed in of collectibles you may not even knew existed. We are also gently introducing and exploring items from the 50's, 60's, 70's and 2000's decades.

We've made the magic happen behind the scenes till now. We started a request corner below, in the case you are looking for something specific, we will post on there to see if someone else who shops with us has it. =)

Most all of our clients are collectors themselves. We will keep items posted until the collector lets me know they found it or someone messages me to let me know they have it and would like to trade or sell. As a collector and 80's baby, a 90's kid myself, this stuff is truly even nostalgic to me and brings so many memories back.

Since they only made a certain number of books, collectibles, toys etc., those that weren't destroyed or thrown away that are currently in circulation is small, then the list of finding them in decent condition is even smaller, and the list of unfindable collectibles continues to grow. Some items may never be found or appear ever again now or ever in the future. Most of the time it's what you see is what you get and don't get upset. As collectors ourselves, we know the difficulty out there in the world buying preowned treasures and want to give you the easiest and most magical experience with peace of mind that it is in decent condition.

If there is something you see if my store that is sold out, please press the notify when back in stock button. Etsy will email you once we have your treasure again. Our grading system and criteria is all explained in detail below, how and what we look for when we grade a book. We know there are millions of sellers out there and all of them have different criteria's when grading and listing their books.

This list will be updated frequently. If you have any of the books below for them and are interested in selling or trading them to me, please let me know and I will contact my clients.

1) Sweet Valley Twins Reporter Notebook (2 editions) Condition doesn't matter. Collector is normally a Good/Very good condition collector but doesn't matter condition due to the scarcity of the book. Origin of the book is unknown. Believe it was a fan club giveaway. Has pictures provided if needed.

2) Sweet Valley High Box Sets. Any numbers. Condition does not matter. Can be boxes only too and I can provide the books. For a big Sweet Valley collector overseas trying to complete her box set collection.

3) Goosebumps Girl Who Cried Monster #8 with the bookmark still attached inside for a Good/Very Good condition collector (no writing, no marks, no dings, no scratches, and no wear)

4) Fear Street Calendars 1996, 1997, 1998, Midnight Diary, Fear Street gift boxes for the Stepsister, Overnight, Fear Street Saga, and Prom Queen. Christopher Pike Gift Sets. Condition preferred good but will take whatever available. For an overseas collector looking to complete her Fear Street and Christopher Pike collections with these collectibles. Please contact if interested in selling or trading.

Our Normal Shipping Schedule is below:

If you place your order on a Monday it will go out by Thursday
If you place your order on a Tuesday it will go out by Friday
If you place your order on a Wednesday it will go out by Saturday
If you place your order on a Thursday it will go out by Monday
If you place your order on a Friday it will go out by Tuesday
If you place your order on a Saturday it will go out by Wednesday
If you place your order on a Sunday it will go out by Thursday

Our Story:

We created Magic Unique Treasures, so that collectors can have the most magical experience and of course piece of mind buying preowned collectibles. We've only been selling for two years but have been collectors for a lifetime. A seller who just sells in comparison to a collector who knows this stuff are extremely different types of sellers and packagers. A collector will generally know pairings and will treat your items as they were their own collectibles. A collector will take the extra time and care with your package. If you are looking for collectibles to buy that aren't wiped down or have not been properly taken care or preserved and then thrown and shipped into an unsecure package, this probably isn't the shop for you.

The Side Story:

Our store was created by a 90's collector (me "aka" we). We specialize mostly in the 90's collectibles, but we do venture into the 80's and 2000's at times when we can. We also try to categorize more efficiently, so that all your favorite series and collectibles are all sorted in one section.

I love photographing collectibles. Staging the collectibles and creating a story with my photos is my passion. Some of these collectibles no one has ever seen or even knew existed. **In the event one of these larger orders have come that will need extra attention and time and if in any way will cause your order not to go out on schedule within the next business day or two, we will let you know as soon as you place your order. We do our best to design and custom make and ship out orders in the order they have been received.


Tracking Mail Info:

All of our orders come with tracking. For international orders, once the order is out of the USA, tracking info is not shared with us as it is handed off to your country's post carrier and will not update Etsy's end until the very end of it's journey (aka arrival). If you need current tracking info for an international order, please contact your local carrier before reaching out to us.

Bookmarks/Categories:

On the main page of our store (phone and computer), we have added bookmarks of our store to help any collector with categories tailored to specific interests. Etsy is sometimes a tricky platform to learn, so if you have any questions or need any shortcuts to sections or categories, please contact us.

If you loved Spice Girls, *NSYNC, Backstreet Boys or Britney take a peek at our new 90's Music section we created with all of their collectibles.

If you loved Simpsons or Sailor Moon, go to S-Z Books/Movies/TV. You may see some other things you may have missed in the 90's. Fun Fact:

A lot of our categories we personally collected and currently collect that we sell in our shop are movies and characters that meant most to us in the 80's, 90's and 00's.

Another Very Interesting Fact:

We are learning and discovering the different collector types which helps us pair and create new box ideas. We started curating the boxes just about six months ago.

Fun Find:

With each decade there are collectors that overlap between the late 80's/early 90's. We have also created an 80s/90s remix Mystery Box for this collector type for the items that overlap. New Kids on the Block is one that can be an 80's or 90's collector or fan, so we decided to give them their own section and category in our shop. Since Etsy only limits shops to only choosing one category per listing, and if this ever gets remedied, you may want to check both of our 80's and 90's categories just in case,

We created our first holiday section ever, the new Halloween category.

***We apologize in advance for posting any holiday too soon but our clients who we ship to internationally who regularly place orders, may take weeks for them to receive their order due to customs and package checks that stop on the way, so with early preparation we diligently work hard to get things out as early as we can for them to give them as many options they had and the absolute best chance for their package to arrive before that holiday even gets here.


The Important Stuff (Book Conditions):

When we first started our shop we only sold books for the first year or so. When we opened we immediately implemented our very own grading system. We’ve learned every seller in the universe has a different interpretation of a good condition book. Our system is now recognized and known by many of our clients that easily helps them choose the condition of their collectible based on the type of book condition collector they are.

Here are our conditions:

Good/Very Good -
The condition of this book is an overall nice copy inside and out. There is no writing we can find when we inspected this book. We check both inside of each book cover and flip thru all of the pages. This book has a lot of life left in them for their age and can be read for several more years without question.

Acceptable/Fair -
The condition of this book has average outside and inside wear and/or on the binding most likely due to age. The book is overall nice, but we may have recovered a flaw like some minor writing or a name inside which does not qualify as our good/very good policy (see above). The shelf life of this book we feel is a lot less than our good/very good copies but still has a lot of life.

Worn (previously known as our "rough") -
The condition of this book appears to have been obviously read. The inside and/or outside of the book shows age and/or a flaw that we feel do not qualify in our acceptable/fair category (see above). These books do show some tanning inside and the cover and/or binding do show very obvious wear. We also inspect the bindings. If the binding appears to unlikely ever be read again from its wear, it does not qualify for our worn category and graded in our rough category (see below).

Fun Fact about Worn:
We've noticed there are two collector types. A collector who collects worn (readable) and rough (barely readable) copies. So we are currently turning them into their own two separate categories. We are still finishing the conversion. The true definition to our rough copies is the life of this book is near its end. It can be read a handful of times more but in our opinion will soon eventually fall apart within the next year or so due to its age, handle and read wear.
