It was being sent to my daughter as a gift and I have not heard that she has received it as yet.

About

Making the Leap

"The artist uses the talent he has, wishing he had more talent. The talent uses the artist it has, wishing it had more artist."
- Robert Brault

At my first discovery of crayons, I began my life calling as an artist. Few things are as fulfilling as taking a picture out from the imagination and turning it into a work of art.

When I am neglectful of taking the time to create things and work with my hands to craft my ideas, I can feel it. It is a heavy, underlying knowledge that I am burying the talent; a cooped up feeling, like a ball in my throat, it leaves me unsatisfied. I remember once going into an art store after a long creative drought, and I was unexpectedly overwhelmed to tears at the scent of paints, pastels, pencils and paper. I knew that I had been stifling my gift for far too long. Back to the drawing board.

The start of my shop Magniflora signifies the leap from art as a hobby in my spare time to a career. Please go alongside me on this journey and make the time to create!
