Magpie Workshop
Hello!
Along with my two best friends (scissors and glue), I create small collage art for the romantics among us.
Renaissance ladies and gentlemen populate nearly all my work. Most have long been favorites of mine. I happily adorn them with blooming crowns, nesting birds and maybe even the odd toadstool - all of which give a look of mischievous intent to their 500 year-old faces.
The Old and New Worlds have clearly collided in my collages. A friend aptly described my style as, "Frida Kahlo on the Grand Tour."
My work can be displayed, tucked in a pocket or between the pages of a book or simply held like a modern day talisman.
