About

one girl- endless possibilities

There once was a girl who was devoted to her job, in box. Every day for 13 years she toiled and strove to be the best she could be, or atleast that is what she thought. One particularly fine day, she paused at a mirror and noticed she wasn't who she wanted to be. And with that she got up, brushed herself off, walked out of her routine and into her life.

now, a published/gallery artist tracey jean makes a happy, simple life selling her art at fairs and festivals and art boutiques and is thrilled to be able to bring her offerings here to etsy. Her hand sculpted ornaments and art dolls are collected through out the world and her art dolls and mixed media work can be found in several publications including several issues of Art Doll Quarterly, Altered Bits Mixed Media:Themed Notorious & Letters and Symbols [Perfect Paperback] , the Encyclopedia project- the book, and can be viewed invariably at Art House Gallery and the Wild Ruby Galleria.

When she is not in her studio, tracey jean is an avid bird caretaker and environmentalist; she loves tending to the farm and you will often find her up to her elbows in garden dirt, knees in the lake scavaging the shore lines for mixed media goodies or head in the clouds dreaming of small creatures and a world of paint.

Shipping
U.S. Military (APO/FPO/DPO), Alaska, Hawaii & Puerto Rico- please contact me prior to purchase for shipping costs.

Shipping usually* takes place within 2 business days of the completed transaction.
*allowance must be given during winter months as I reside on a farm on an island where snow plows are few and snow flakes are many. Past shipping delays have been no more than 2 additional days, however, i will notify buyer regardless, if this becomes a factor.

All shipping is completed through either the United States Postal Service or UPS depending on the size and weight of your package(s). I will chose the safest, securest and most cost efficient way for you to receive your package(s). If you have a preference of shipping companies, please contact me during the purchasing process and I will make arrangements/ get shipping quote/ make adjustments accordingly.

Your purchase will come securely packed for safety in transit. All artwork is double wrapped and insulated for protection in shipping. This generally means that the box/parcel will be significantly larger than the item purchased. Please make proper arrangements for retrieval of your parcel/package when delivered.

All purchases will receive package tracking information which you will be provided with.

All domestic purchases over $100.00 will receive insurance coverage for the purchase price.
If you wish to have shipping insurance on a purchase of $99.00 or less, please contact me during the purchasing process and I will adjust your shipping costs accordingly. (current USPS insurance under $100.00 is around $1.90-$2.50 though they like to change things often)

USPS does not currently allow insurance on International Shipments. International buyers, please contact me prior to purchase with your resident and country code so that I may obtain a proper shipping/insurance quote.

*********** Please note: As an environmentally conscious studio- I reuse shipping materials whenever possible. This includes boxes and packing materials. Please help complete the cycle and either reuse or recycle your shipping containers and packing materials. Thank you!*************
Refunds and Exchanges
I want you to enjoy your new art work for years to come.
I will accept returns or exchanges on purchase with a full refund* for purchase price- postage fees remain the responsibility of buyer.

Item(s) must be returned safely and securely packaged in their original packaging. All item(s) whose purchase price is over $100.00 must have insurance on return package. Shipment Tracking information is required on all returned items. Once I receive the returned item, undamaged your refund will be processed within 48 hours.

If the item is returned damaged due to unsecured packing (and not covered by insurance)- buyer will be notified and a repair fee will be assessed based on extent of damage- not to exceed 35% of purchase price (in such case that item is deemed unfit for resale.) This will be avoided if care is taken to repack the item(s) with same materials in which they were shipped.

*There are no returns accepted on custom orders or commission pieces.

**please note: full refund/exchange is for purchase price only. Buyer retains responsibility for all shipping costs.
Additional policies and FAQs
Commissions:
Although I only sell original art work and create new pieces every day, I can create a similar work to anything already sold. This primarily applies to mixed media work and paintings. Art dolls and ornaments must be given a greater latitude when requesting custom work and commissions as each piece is hand sculpted and takes on a unique personality and character at the time of creation.
I take great care in considering all requirements requested on custom orders.
There are no returns offered on any custom order or commission piece.

I will not copy or recreate another artists work. please do not ask me.
