I've been wanting to get a house portrait for my boyfriend ever since he purchased his first home in New Orleans. I knew I needed to find an artist who could capture the fun and whimsy of the house. I'm so glad I found Erin and that she could help me with the gift! It is beyond beautiful - I can hardly wait to give it to him because I know he will feel the same.
How My Shop Came to Be :)
After moving to Sydney awhile ago, I started a blog in which I painted the city each day (well, most days). Painting my new surroundings helped me to adjust to my new life, and I found inspiration everywhere around me. Etsy became a way to share that inspiration.
After opening my Etsy shop, I started doing custom work for weddings and baby showers of friends and relatives. Feedback was so positive that I added custom listings for house portraits, wedding stationery and maps, and other paper goods. I enjoy working with people one-on-one to create something they'll treasure. I'm always grateful to be let into other people's lives to take part in their celebrations and gift-giving.
I also illustrate for publications and the occasional children's book, so I decided to add my own prints and stationery as a way to sell the type of work I could "self commission". Influences from my life and my dreams inspire many of my art prints. I use art to create places and situations that make me smile, whether it's a bit of self-indulgent humour or a sense of tranquility. I hope that others enjoy my work as much as I do!
Hello! I'm an illustrator living in Sydney. I love bright, happy colours, whimsical characters, and the spontaneity of watercolour. After earning a BFA in illustration and an MFA in painting, I saw Etsy as a way to share what I love to do!
I like to sketch, paint, sew, and craft! When I finish an illustration that makes me smile when I look at it, that's when I know it's ready to share in the shop. I try to put forth my best work and genuinely hope you'll be very happy with everything I share in my shop!
Accepted payment methods
- Accepts Etsy gift cards
During the process, I'll email a small image of the work for approval and allow for revisions. In the event that a buyer decides to cancel, an amount will be refunded depended on how much of the work has already been completed. If the buyer changes their mind after the final is sent, the fee is non-refundable (this has never happened!) I take many steps to ensure the item is as close to your vision as possible. I want you to love your custom artwork!
Refunds and Exchanges
Items can be returned within 30 days of purchase but must be returned in same condition as they were received (this excludes DIY printables which are non-refundable once the image file has been sent). The amount paid by the customer will be returned minus shipping costs and a 10% handling fee.
Handled on a case by case basis, depending on which step in the process has been completed when the cancellation notice is received. Cancellations may not made after the final revision process has commenced.
I do my best to accurately list each work with sufficient details to ensure that buyers understand what they are purchasing. Items are sent out in excellent condition, and with protective packaging to make sure that the original artwork arrives in the same condition. If you have any complaints or concerns, please contact me immediately.
