Such a neat idea to have nature in a frame. My one-of-a kind piece came out beautifully with the natural frame. I even got some amaranthus in mine! Thanks for the time and thought put into my order!

Beautifully hand crafted planter and stand! If you’re looking for ways to add some greenery to your home, and want a stylish display piece, this works perfectly. Shipping was quick and communication with the shop owner was a breeze. I’ve gotten many compliments on this piece—very happy with purchase!

I purchased one of these beautiful pieces as a gift for my niece's first home. I then needed to order another similar piece from Makana because my nephew decided he would like one also! Both pieces arrived in perfect condition and are proving to be little "windows to the green outdoors" to make their office spaces seem less cold and isolated during a pandemic winter in the midwest.

This was a gift. The recipient LOVED it! Beautifully made and received in perfect condition. Great item for a dark corner that needs “green life”.
Aloha and mahalo (thank you) for visiting the Makana Arts website. My name is Lisanne and I am the artist/maker behind Makana Arts. My work brings together a variety of media to express my fascination with the aesthetics of shapes/forms, patterns, color, and textures in nature and the world around us. I am currently working in wood, moss, concrete and plant design. Behind the scenes, I often use my training and experience in engineering and product development to addresses challenges in both design and business. I am originally from Hawaii which is where the name “Makana” comes from. It is the Hawaiian word for gift and a constant reminder to cultivate the things that matter the most.
