We now offer compostable soap and butter bath bomb packaging, adorable reusable lotion bar tins, and compostable bath tea and salt soak packaging. It gives us such peace at mind knowing that all of our packaging is either reusable or will break down whether in your personal garden or in your local landfill. Thank you for shopping small with our natural, healthy, skin loving products and also helping make a difference for our earth.



Welcome to our Soap Shop! We love using all natural oils in our soap. Pure Olive Oil, Coconut Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, are just a few of the ingredients in our handmade small batch soap recipe. We are proud to ship our products in compostable, marine biodegradable, 100% recycled packaging.

Please take a look around and let us know if there is anything you would like us to CUSTOM make for you!

Custom Orders:
- We would love to make a custom order soap for you! Baby Shower Favors, Wedding Favors, and Housewarming gifts are just a few items we can create!
- Our turn around time is between 4-6 WEEKS due to the cure time required. Cure time is the amount of time needed for the water content in soap to evaporate to create a nice hard, long last bar.


Processing & Shipping:
- We offer FREE SHIPPING on orders of $35.00 or more!
- We pride ourselves on quick processing and shipping times. Orders ship within 1-3 business days. (Seeing as I am a workaholic and loooove packing orders- I tend to pack and ship orders within 24 hours of purchase.)
- We ship using USPS First Class and USPS Priority shipping.
- We will REFUND any unused portion of your shipping costs after your order is processed.

  • I love making soap where the scent is self explanatory. The soap above is Crisp Apple Rose. Can you tell?! ;)
  • We set our bath bombs apart by others by adding moisturizing Shea Butter to every batch.
  • Freshly made soap just out of the mold.

Our Mission

Hi, my name is Kim and I am the owner of Makayla River Soaps & Such. I am a stay at home wife and mom to two beautiful children. Makayla River Soaps & Such started when I began my quest for my family to live a more clean and simple life. Like so many others- I started looking into all of the additives that are used during the manufacturing process these days not only for our food but also our hygiene care items and I was not a fan.

Our goal at Makayla River Soaps & Such is to deliver handmade soaps that are moisturizing, gentle on your skin, smell amazing, and include ingredients that you can actually pronounce! Oh and let's not forget- everyone loves a good lathering soap bar!

Makayla River Soaps & Such wants to minimize our carbon footprint as often as we can. We try to purchase 100% recycled packaging material as much as possible. Even if it costs our business more out of pocket- it is worth it to do our part for our beautiful planet. We encourage you as well to Go Green too. :)

    My drive for my Etsy shop is showing my kids that you can do anything you want in life. My little girl's dream is to own a bakery when she grows up. I have a dream of owning a soap shop so I'm giving it all I got! I want to lead by example for them.
