Just a DIY, last minute, hold onto your hats kinda Mom!
Non sono mai stata una persona astuta - non riuscivo nemmeno a tracciare una linea retta! Poi, un giorno, avevo bisogno di un paio di scarpe glitterate d'oro per un matrimonio a cui stavo partecipando. Ogni paio che ho trovato in negozio o online era troppo costoso o non quello che volevo. Durante la mia ricerca mi sono imbattuto in un sito chiamato Pinterest che dava istruzioni su come creare le tue scarpe glitterate. Ho seguito i passaggi e sono usciti perfetti! Da quel momento in poi sono rimasto affascinato e ho voluto continuare a fare e creare cose. I progetti scolastici con cui mio figlio ha sempre avuto bisogno di aiuto non erano più un compito temuto, ma un progetto entusiasmante su cui potevamo lavorare insieme. Potrei anche disegnare, ben tagliato, una linea retta!
Quella che una volta era una timida curiosità si è lentamente trasformata in uno stile di vita. Dopo aver creato molti regali per amici e familiari, mi hanno suggerito di avviare un negozio Etsy ed eccomi qui oggi! Adoro i glitter, lavorare con gli utensili elettrici e passare il tempo con la mia famiglia. Io la mamma di un ragazzino che mi tiene costantemente sulle spine. Adoro creare cose e vedere la gioia che le mie creazioni portano ad altre persone. Detto questo, spero di poter fare qualcosa per te!
I was never a crafty person - I couldn't even draw a straight line! Then one day, I needed a pair of gold glitter shoes for a wedding I was attending. Every pair I found in-store or online was either too expensive or not what I wanted. During my search I stumbled upon a site called Pinterest which gave instructions on how to make your own glittery shoes. I followed the steps and they came out perfect! From then on I was hooked and wanted to keep making and creating things. The school projects my son always needed help with were no longer a dreaded task but an exciting project that we could work on together. I could even draw, well cut, a straight line!
What was once a shy curiosity slowly developed into a lifestyle. After creating many gifts for friends and family, they suggested I start an Etsy store and here I am today! I love glitter, working with power tools, and spending time with my family. I the mom to a little boy who constantly keeps me on my toes. I absolutely love creating things and seeing the joy my creations bring to other people. With that being said, hopefully I can make something for you!
