\\\\ The Malgosia Story

Inspired by the sophisticated simplicity of Japanese style, I founded Malgosia with a vision of creating a truly unique label defined by bold and elegant street style pieces. The brand’s identity is based on a invented character, Malgosia, an artist living in Amsterdam with a love for both fashion and japanese culture. With an endlessly wearable, contemporary approach, Malgosia finds fresh ways to bring a bold identity into everyday wear.

\\\\ Collections

Malgosia is about developing limited and timeless pieces. That means all products are developed regardless of season and trends. There is no time limit for collections; instead, new designs are coming in every week.

\\\\ Process

With an expertise in graphic design and illustration, I develop clothing collections for women and men with a focus on innovative and appealing textile combinations.

Malgosia's pieces are characterised by simple, sophisticated silhouettes with a strong focus on fabric and graphic structure. Using pattern making, sewing and graphic design techniques mixed with lots of experimentation and handwork, I am able to transform plain traditional fabrics into highly developed fashion outcomes, creating unique fabric led garments.

All of my pieces are produced under request, individually and manually, so while at the surface they can be considered highly contemporary, it is at the same time firmly rooted in traditional processes. I also try to keep the creation process as free as possible, so that I can blur the boundaries between art and design.

I'm a graphic designer from São Paulo, Brazil.
I'm passionate about art, design, fashion, music, movies, food and traveling.
When I'm not working for my brand Malgosia I like to hang out with dear friends and family, go out dancing or relax at the great Amsterdam's parks.
