♠️I'm really sorry I can't accept shipping upgrades, comes out of my pocket. Items weighing under 1 pound ship FIRST CLASS MAIL. Must have expedited shipping? Send me a separate message within minutes of placing your order to establish an upgrade personally with me which you will pay for using PayPal.
♠️I recycle shipping materials whenever possible. I have several outside business sources that provide me with odd sized boxes, craft paper, air bubbles, styrofoam, bubble wrap and padded envelopes.
I use whatever materials necessary to provide safe travels for your purchase and materials used depends on your item, zip and size of box. Sometimes it ain't pretty. You're throwing the packing material away. It's up to me to make sure you get your item in 1 piece. Not present it as a gift. My 'THANK YOU' note is electronic and sent to you along with ETsy's shipping notifications. You won't get a thank you note inside your package. It's more waste and def not eco-friendly.

You don't need more time than that to know frames don't suit you. You either fit and you're loving' them, or you hate them and will return them first chance you get. Cause that's a responsible buyer, right? Not 3 months later, not 4 months. 7 days. Thanks.
♠️ Our post office is going through some very hard times with the newly appointed Postmaster General, Covid and the holiday overload. Please allow a LOT of time for your international parcel to arrive. This is a hit or miss situation and partly depends on how YOUR post is operating during this pandemic as well.
♠️ If your order is over $75, signature is required upon delivery. If your purchase is being shipped to an apartment number, signature confirmation is required as well.
I don't charge for that service.
I've learned the hard way. I live in NYC and wont't take chances with your money.
I need to know that your purchase lands in your hands and not someone elses. Too many parcels have gotten lost in the past due to Postmaster scanning as delivered and leaving parcel at door. Things disappear in the meantime, and neither you nor I can file a claim against the USPS if they've scanned your parcel as delivered. If you're not available to sign for it, please keep it in the back of your mind, that you will have to make a trip to the post office with ID to pick it up. They hold parcels for 14 days, and then it is returned to me. I know it's an inconvenient, however this is to guarantee delivery to YOU. I can't afford to replace or refund, I'm not Amazon.
♠️ Detailed apx. measurements are included and the best important shots to help you make your decision. If the item is intended to be worn, please do your homework and make sure you've compared my measurements to an item similar that you already own. I will refund if the item you received was damaged in shipping. Contact me the DAY it arrives. Don't wait a week to tell me somethings wrong with it.. Ship it back within 7 days of getting it. Don't wait a week or 3 and then send it back. That's not cool.
♠️ Returns are for a purchase price refund minus a 5% restocking fee of it's purchase price. This covers the fees that are not recovered plus the hassle of yeah, opening the package, looking it over, restocking it.
My eyewear is excluded from the restocking fee. Some eyewear is not returnable and states' it in the product's description.
♠️ If you decide to return, do it within the next couple business days of receiving it. I have to get it within a week after you've requested a return.
Buyer pays return shipping. If item was over $75 you must ship it back with insurance and signature confirmation to make sure it lands in my hands and not someone else's.
Save all your packing. If the item is breakable and arrives to me broken, I'll know it even before I open the box. I will document it's demise on video and you won't get your refund.
♠️ Now not saying this is you, but know where I'm coming from:
There are people out there who wear shit, use shit and then feel entitled to return it for one reason or another.
Don't.
I'm selling online since 2001 and as much as I deliberated this recent decision on accepting returns, IF, and I mean IF I get it back and.....

*1.......the item has hair on it, fingerprints and grime all over it, looks used and unclean, or smells like something that didn't originate in my house (cigarette smoke, perfume, armpit stank), I will not refund.

*2.......If the item has a tear in it and this tear doesn't appear in my photos, don't even try to pull a fast one on me. I double up on wrapping protection to ensure the buyer doesn't make a slit in their item while they slit open the box with a knife or scissor blade. I protect your item from rain if a package is left out by the post master.

*3.......It's past the 7 day return window and/or you didn't contact me cause you were away...
"I wasn't aware of your return policy"
"It was a gift and the recipient didn't like it".
"it was a holiday gift, I did my shopping early, and they didn't get it until a month later"(or whatever time frame you're telling me). Sorry. I won't take it back.

It's the buyer's responsibility to be familiar with the seller's shop/return policy.
Don't make this my problem.

♠️ To lessen the chances of returns, I include approximate measurements for everything I sell. Do your homework, and never assume something will fit, without measuring first. If it's about color? Monitors display differently from one household to the next, and when I color proof, the photos uploaded onto the ETSY website, are close to accurate. If color is crucial to your purchase, please email me. I describe to the best of my knowledge, and what I think is important to make the sale a successful one for both parties. If I have missed something that you need to know, PLEASE email me prior to placing your purchase. My observations, and opinions on the same item, may or may not differ from what you would expect. Need more pictures? Contact me, and I will get them right out to you when I can get the opportunity to do so. If a week goes by, and you do not get any, ask me again, I probably forgot ;-)

♠️ I guarantee my descriptions to be as close to accurate as possible. Enlarge my photos, they’re an integral part of the items’ description. If I leave out a significant fault I will pay all shipping fees upon the item's safe return to me. In regards to vintage clothing, a small spot, snag, hole, wrinkle, or pull, does not constitute misrepresentation. I mainly sell vintage, previously owned itemst hat may not be perfect( unless I am sure that they are) and have had a life before ETSY whether it was in someone's closet, or on someone else's body, or in someone else's SMOKING household. Do not buy vintage if you are not flexible with it's stated condition. I do look over each item as carefully as possible. My home is a non smoking home. All items I purchase from estate sales, having an odor are deodorized or drycleaned. If there is an odor I will say so. Though it is hardly my intention we all make mistakes. I make every attempt to resolve all issues as happy customers are returning ones.

This shop is an offspring of my flagship shop established in 2008 'Back Thennish Vintage'.
I've done shows in Manhattan, Long Island, and Connecticut.
I've done flea markets and have had my own spaces in various vintage and antique shops.
I'll be doing this till I can no longer see, write or walk.

What is my detailed return policy?

Not enough characters here. READ MY SHOP ANNOUNCEMENT for the fine print you should know regarding all my shop policies.
Briefly:::Buyer pays return insured shipping with signature confirmation.. to make sure it lands in my hands and not someone else's. There's a lot of package theft going on in my neighborhood now that our pandemic has created such numbers in unemployment. Save all boxes and shipping materials and package the same way I did to insure it's safe return to me. If its condition is different than what my photos show I will not refund.
