I Am A Man And This Is My Hoard
Mi amor por los artículos vintage comenzó joven cuando solía jugar con cosas viejas en el ático de mi abuela. Era un portal a otro mundo y a otro tiempo, con generaciones de "cosas" familiares. Baúles antiguos, álbumes de fotos de la década de 1800, ropa y sombreros en cajas de sombreros de la década de 1920, bisutería vintage, palos de golf con ejes de madera, libros y periódicos, etc. Solía pasar horas a la vez allí arriba, fascinado con todas esas cosas viejas.
A mis 20 años conseguí un trabajo en una tienda de antigüedades llamada "Antique Heaven" en Arizona, y terminé convirtiéndome en el copropietario. Lo hice durante cinco años antes de liquidar activos, cerrar el negocio y mudarme a la Isla Grande de Hawai en 1998.
Mi amor por lo vintage nunca murió y me encanta ir a ventas de patio, reuniones de intercambio y tiendas de segunda mano aquí en Hawai. He encontrado algunas cosas muy únicas e interesantes a lo largo de los años aquí que simplemente no puedes encontrar en los 48 estados, de los días de "Old Hawaii", y espero traerte algo de esa singularidad.

My love for vintage items started young when I used to play with old things in my Grandmother's attic. It was a portal to another world and another time, with generations of family "stuff". Old trunks, photo albums from the 1800's, clothing and hats in hat boxes from the 1920's, vintage costume jewelry, golf clubs with wooden shafts, books and newspapers, etc. I used to spend hours at a time up there, fascinated with all those old things.
In my 20's I got a job at an antique store named "Antique Heaven" in Arizona, and ended up becoming the co-owner. I did that for five years before liquidating assets, closing the business and moved to the Big Island of Hawaii in 1998.
My love of vintage never died and I love going to yard sales, swap meets and thrift stores here in Hawaii. I have found some very unique and interesting things over the years here that you just can't find in the 48 states, from the days of "Old Hawaii", and I look forward to bringing some of that uniqueness to you.
I sell on several different venues and am kind of new to listing on Etsy, but I look forward to bringing you service with Aloha.
