As mentioned in my previous review, here is my husband's matching pendant to my ring. The minute he opened the box he said, "Arizona!". This design has a special place in our hearts and we both will cherish our pieces for a lifetime. Thank you for the magic Mandie!

About

A bit about me...

Eco-friendly nature inspired, truly one of a kind pendants, rings and earrings in fine silver, copper and bronze.

I have been creating silver jewelry for several years. I participated in the Wearable Art Show at the Burlington Art Center last fall. I have had several open house sales and also sell in my online store on Etsy. My studio is a converted bedroom in my home, where I create one of a kind jewelry in silver, copper and bronze.

I have always loved creating things…ever since I was a child; I’ve had to be making something. I have tried my hand at many different mediums – beading, knitting, painting, rug-hooking, quilling, woodworking, pottery and glasswork – something always leading me back to making jewelry. It might be that I love shiny, sparkly things. :)

I have taken several silversmith classes at Mohawk College where I learned the fundamentals of silver smithing and jewelry making. I love putting flame to the metal and watching it become what I had envisioned. It also lets me utilize my collection of precious and semi-precious stones.

In 2009 I discovered Precious Metal Clay (PMC) and it opened up another world for me! I have also completed a few private Precious Metal Clay (PMC) workshops and most recently a PMC class at Mohawk College. I can now create the intricate details that I love. PMC has endless possibilities. I particularly enjoy discovering all that this groundbreaking material has to offer and refining techniques to incorporate texture and other materials such as natural and man-made stones into my designs, creating beautiful personal works of art to wear.

Frequently asked questions

Custom and personalized orders

I welcome and encourage custom and personalized orders! It is my pleasure to make something total unique for you, as a collaboration of your ideas and specifications. Please contact me to discuss details.

Sizing details

Sizes and measurements are provided on each listing. If you have any other questions, please contact me.

Gift wrapping and packaging

Your purchase will arrive to you boxed and in a gift bag, and packed inside of a bubble envelope. This is the safest way to ship small delicate items without a lot of weight. Multiple order items will be boxed together to keep shipping costs down. If you wish to have separate boxes please let me know your preference in the message to seller when placing your order.

Care instructions

Most of the pieces I make with gemstones have an antique patina added. These can be cleaned with soap and water and gently pat dry. Do not use commercial dip/liquid cleaners, they may harm the stones and will remove all patina. Do not wear your jewellery while swimming, or expose to other chemicals such as perfumes or lotions.

Shipping Address:

I will ship to the address in your (the buyer) Etsy profile. If the wrong shipping address is supplied by the buyer, and the buyer does not notify me before the shipment is dispatched, then the buyer will be responsible for the cost of shipping the item again after it returns back to us. If the item is marked delivered by the postal service, I can not refund or reship.

Customs/Import Fees

The buyer is responsible for all customs fees, duties, and import charges that are levied at the time of delivery. Please contact your postal system for information about your country's fees.

Shipping times

All packages are shipped with tracking.

Domestic Shipping: Orders are shipped via Canada Post, with tracking number. Orders are shipped within 2 business days of your cleared payment, to the shipping address specified in Etsy/Paypal.

International Shipping: Orders are shipped via Canada Postal Service, First Class Mail, with tracking number. Orders are shipped within 2 business days of your cleared payment to the shipping address specified in Etsy/Paypal. Shipping times can not be guaranteed due to delays within the postal service. Please allow up to 6 weeks shipping for overseas deliveries.

Returns and exchanges

Etsy is somewhere between an art show and a flea market, but it's not the mall. As such, objects of art are personal and are not returnable unless substantial errors or omissions have been made in my descriptions. That being said, I want my clients to be happy, and, if you have purchased something as a gift and it is not well received, please contact me about an exchange or modification.
