Announcement   Welcome to my shop!

For me, making art is an intuitive, expressive, healing process. Each piece contains layers upon layers of emotion and each piece gives you an intricate view of my heart and soul. While some pieces might have a lighthearted and mischievous feel...others may be more dark and melancholy. I am happiest when I am in my studio, music blasting, knee-deep in paint. Painting=Magic ✨✨

Thank you for taking a moment to let my work speak to you.

About

A colorful journey...

My love of art, vintage, and handmade goods shines through in every piece of work you will find in my shop. Each piece is made with love in my studio at SMAK Art Studios in Englewood, Colorado.

I come to the canvas without a plan. I enjoy the intuitive process of listening to what the paint wants to say. My pieces tend to be abstract with a somewhat magical feel and vibrant colors have always made my heart go pitter-pat. I love including an element of mystery and possibility in each piece, the many layers on the canvas include many stories - some of love, some of heartbreak, some of joy, and some of grief. These many layers are part of the process that caused me to fall head over heels in love with painting.

I live in Littleton, CO with my "main squeeze," three boys, and four (yes, FOUR) dogs.

When I'm not at the canvas, you can find me teaching Zumba! I love to dance and you will usually find me dancing while I paint!

I am so very excited that you are visiting my shop! I paint what speaks to my heart and if it can speak to other people, that is such a thrill for me!

My pieces usually include several layers of paint and paper creating various lines and textures, and sometimes it is hard to capture that with the camera. Due to the nature of my artwork, the items you receive may slightly vary from what you see in the pictures.

Please contact me with any questions or concerns you have regarding my work.

I am also open to commissions!

Thank you so much!
