Announcing the Grand Re-Opening of Each One Unique! After a devastating house fire last winter I am finally ready to re-open!

I encountered this quote and asked myself what was something I cannot do. The answer was, paint, or anything artistic. At the time I had three small children so I decided to start by taking a course in oil painting. That was seven years ago and I have painted nearly every day since.
I believe quality art should be affordable for everyone. Thus, my prices are considerably low, especially on my originals. I believe people should have access to unique art, therefore, the same exact piece will never be seen twice in my shop, nor will prints be made of my work. Finally, I believe we are all responsible for loving the planet. Thus, I use the " greenest" products available and upcycle all of my frames.
It took me quite awhile to amass enough paintings to participate in a local art fair. Mainly because I kept giving all my work away. After years of teaching as an adjunct social sciences instructor at a local college my family decided it was time to pursue my art in a more serious manner. This shop is part of that endeavor. This shop is not only for selling my work, but serves as an online gallery. In January 2016 my home, including my art studio, was destroyed by a fire. My family was displaced and lived in temporary housing for 6 months. Thus the temporary closure of my store. Now I am back to my brushes and ready to reopen with a few changes and additions. This shop will now more than ever focus on original oil paintings and hand painted greeting cards. I am so excited to see where this new venture takes Each One Unique.
