Thank you for your interest in my dolls and/or mannequin heads. I love making them and selling them to people who love them also. I am 90 years old and reflect on my memories to paint them as I remember mannequin heads in millinery shops as a child shopping with my mother.
My heads are made of resin and are exact replicas cast from rare vintage originals from my collection of about 35 great heads. See my feedback replies from past happy customers...and also many happy milliners from US and Europe.
These mannequin heads will enhance the appearance of your vintage collectables and I am sure your beautiful millinery will enhance my heads even further. See them as an investment to help sales...they simply add much class to a display.
My heads can be seen in the Harry Potter Theme Park, The Christmas Story 2, Several George Clooney movies, Mr Sedgefied on PBS and the movie "Carol", ... and I assure you they are quality. Check my feedback.
I have priced them at $245.00 with free shipping for sales within the USA....International sales contact me at margecrunkleton(at)aol.com for shipping fees.
Thanks for your interest
Sincerely, Marge Crunkleton

5 out of 5 starsMarge, you are an incredibly talented artist! Your mannequin was very carefully packaged, sensitively rendered, and a true work of art. I have been making a lot of hats from 1920s and 1930s patterns in my collection lately, and her mannequin really elevates their appearance. I took many pictures of my lovely new mannequin but Etsy only seems to let me post one. You will be delighted with your purchase if you do buy one!! I named her Myra, and she will be modelling my hats for a long time to come. Thank you, Marge!!! She's a work of art.
About MannequinHeadsToLove
I am sole artist creating vinage mannequin heads that mimic rare originals in my collection of antique heads.
For most of my long life (I am 84) I collected...anything and everything.
I purchased my first original mannequin heads back in 1950 from the attic of an old abandoned department store (in Milwaukee, Wisconsin) which was soon to be torn down.
I asked the owner how much they were and he replied "just take as many as you want....I need to get rid of em."
Needless to say I was thrilled. The very next day I loaded my VW Bug up to the brim with wonderful mannequin heads and took them home to my mother's attic ...where they sat for the next 45 years. I figured that some day I would do something with them.
As years passed, I married, moved to Charlotte NC, had 4 children and when funds permitted... continued my hobby of collecting. It seems I was now drawn to collecting unusual millinery, vintage clothing, and furniture.
I opened a "week end" antique shop ... but continue with my full time job. About this time I decided to drive to Milwaukee to pick up all those stored mannequin heads since would enhance my new shop.
My shop was unique with it's unusual EVERYTHING. Got much publicity, etc. and many many requests to purchase my mannequin heads which by now had become scarce.
The rest of the story is history. I got in the manneqiun business and love making them.
I have 21 different mannequin heads on my web page www.crunkleton.com. I DO ship international UK, Australia, etc ...on my web page...please contact me there. My email contact is margecrunkleton [!at] aol.com

How I Started My Mannequn Company by marge About 1955 I was lucky enough to run across an old department store scheduled to be torn down. I was aware that this building used to house a millinery shop and found many old mannequin heads in the attic
