Announcement   Welcome! Our 2017 Sugaring Season completed on April 14, a long and tiring season that started in February. We made fabulous maple syrup this year - lots of Golden/Delicate for making our maple cream and maple candies. Lots of Amber/Rich too. It was hard to pick out just a few drums for us to sell before the rest went to the bulk maple market. The Dark/Robust maple syrup tastes especially good this year.

Come on in to our Maple Shop where you will find scrumptious maple syrup, candies and other maple goodies.

If we can help you in any way while you are browsing, please send us a message. We are happy to answer any questions or create custom orders for you.

*** IF THE SHIPPING COSTS LOOK CRAZY HIGH, SEND US A NOTE. WE ALWAYS REFUND SHIPPING OVERAGES. WE CAN MAKE YOU A CUSTOM ORDER WITH JUST THE THINGS YOU WANT, AND WE CAN GIVE YOU EXACT SHIPPING COSTS. GIVE US YOUR LIST AND ZIP CODE WHEN YOU CONTACT US.

We now have a Facebook page. "LIKE" us on Facebook and see all of our sugaring season updates, photos, and videos. facebook.com/gotmaple

Maple View SugarWorks is proud to be a 1% for the Planet member. What does that mean? Members of 1% for the Planet contribute one percent of annual sales directly to any of the approved nonprofit environmental organizations in the network. Nonprofits are approved based on referrals, track record and environmental focus. Thousands of nonprofits worldwide are currently approved. Learn more at onepercentfortheplanet.org

We have chosen to support the Rozalia Project. Learn more at rozaliaproject.org
So that means that one percent of everything you buy in our maple shop goes toward ocean cleanup and protection.

Maple View SugarWorks is now a member of Vermont Audubon's Bird Friendly Maple Project. Maple sugarbushes are inherently good for birds, but forests that are intentionally managed with birds in mind are even better! We're pretty chuffed about being involved in this project.

About

Maple View SugarWorks Is a Dream Come True

Making the best maple syrup is not just what we do on our farm at Maple View SugarWorks, it’s who we are. From caring for our land, trees, and animals in the most sustainable way to cleaning our evaporator every day during sugaring season, we strive to bring you the best tasting, golden, sweetest treat you’ve ever had.

We’ve been making maple syrup for over 25 years. We started in New Hampshire, trading an upright piano for a used barrel evaporator. Back then we had 100 taps and used galvanized buckets to gather the sap. Now, nestled in northern Vermont against the Canadian border we have graduated to stringing those little blue tubes throughout our 150 acre sugarbush and use a 5’x12’ stainless steel evaporator to cook maple sap to a rich, golden, gourmet treat.

In 2012 the State of Vermont Food and Agriculture Department offered to inspect and certify sugarhouses that meet the Vermont Maple Sugar Makers Association (VMSMA) standards for clean, efficient, safe, and environmentally sound operation. Our sugarhouse is one of the first to be “certified” by the State of Vermont with zero deductions.

Come and enjoy what we think of as nature's most natural sugar.

Software developers turned farmers, we’ve been making maple syrup for over 25 years. Nestled near the Canadian border in VT we have 8500 taps, make 3000-3500 gallons of maple syrup every year, and have Icelandic sheep and alpacas for their wool.

A NOTE TO OUR NEIGHBORS:
For local folks that live near us in the Northeast Kingdom near Newport VT, send us a message and we can give you a coupon code to remove all shipping costs. You can come to our farm and pick up your order, or we can meet somewhere in Newport.

★ Payment is due at the time you click that Buy button. Your purchase will be shipped when payment is received. If you are interested in trading, let us know that up front please.

★ You can either pay using PayPal or any major credit card, and we accept Etsy Gift Cards.

★★★ CUSTOM ORDERS ★★★
We are happy to fill any custom order for you. Just send us a message telling us what you want to purchase, and we will make a custom listing for you. This is a great way to fill your order if you are unsure how much shipping will be. We have various size boxes and may be able to save you money if we know exactly what you want.

We don't list every gallon of maple syrup we make, so send us a message if you'd like more than the number of containers listed, containers of different sizes, or combinations of items like syrup, cream, candy, and jelly. In other words, if you don't see what you want in our combo packages - make your own!

We also try our best to pack your box with care. If any items arrive damaged, please let us know. Our aim is your happiness with your order.

Questions? Just ask. We're happy to help.
Shipping
--- SHIPPING ---
★ If you live relatively close, sometime we can switch the Flat Rate Box to the Priority A or B size boxes and save you almost half the shipping cost noted.
★ If you are outside the USA, we will add on a Certificate of Mailing, and you are responsible for any taxes or duty.
★ If your package is over $100 in value ask us about increasing shipping insurance.

★★★ We charge you for ACTUAL shipping charges ★★★
We hate paying too much for shipping as much as the next guy. We try to ship your order the safest, most inexpensive way possible. If you are charged more than it costs us to purchase your shipping label(s) we will quickly refund the difference to you.

★★★ On the other hand, … ★★★
… it is really difficult to predict what items you will buy. Some are really heavy like maple syrup, and some are very light, like maple candy. So if the shipping cost is MORE than what is charged, then we reserve the right to send you a PayPal invoice for the difference.
Case in point: "ship with another item" cost assumes that there is room in the box for that item. If you buy something like a gallon of maple syrup, a combo or gift package, those boxes are already stuffed full, so the extra items will need to go in another box.
⇒⇒⇒ Once you pay the PayPal invoice for the additional package, we will post your order. If you have not paid for extra shipping charges in one week of the original order date we will cancel your order and refund any money you have paid.
Refunds and Exchanges
★★★ REFUNDS AND EXCHANGES ★★★
We hope that you will be entirely satisfied with your purchase. Please let us know if you are dissatisfied in any way with your experience with us. If we don't know it's broke, we can't fix it. So let us know a.s.a.p. and we'll make it right.

WEDDING PLANNING?

Yes! We do wedding favors and other wedding sweets for your special day. Send us a message and tell us what you are thinking and we will be happy to plan with you and give you the best price we can. We have consistently beat out other's prices because we don't make profit on packaging.
