About

For the love of beads

I was raised in Italy, where I studied illustration and traditional animation at the renowned art school "Scuola del Libro" in Urbino, a small picturesque town built on the hills of mid-northern Italy.

For many years i lived in Rome working in animation, till in 2009 I decided to move to southern California drawn by a special pulse and energy.

I have been designing wearable art for a few years now, focusing on headpieces and necklaces, and collaborating as a stylist for photo editorials and accessory designer for fashion houses in the greater Los Angeles area.

I explored various materials, till in 2017 I discovered beads, which I am totally in love with.
The way glass beads reflect light is mesmerizing and I could never grow tired of the marvelous hues that glow around my face when wearing one of my beaded necklaces.

I quickly learned a few basic bead stitching techniques and I am now exploring the colorful world of beads, combining sizes and colors, while at the same time refining my skills as an accessory designer.

I definitely have a playful personality, due to my former career in animation, and this childlike appreciation for colors, spheres and toy-like accessories I convey in my jewelry design.

In this regard I find seed beads to be the perfect medium for designing colorful and joyful accessories that can be styled on an elegant outfit.
In fact, when playing with shapes, colors and materials, I never give up on elegance.

I call my accessories “Bijoux” not only because it means “not pretentious jewelry,” but also because it is a French word that in a way contains the word “joy” , which is English for “allegria”.

That said, I really want to transmit to my buyers the joy and love that I feel when creating a beautiful piece of jewelry and accessory, which is possibly my main motivation when approaching this craft.

I hope you like my work, and if you do, please click "favorite" on the items you really like.
Also, feel free to contact me with questions, comments or observations about my person or my work. I will gladly answer to your feed back, which I am very glad to receive.

THANK YOU!
