A Gift of Love....
My favourite birthday present was not expensive, nor was it anything extravagantly sky-high. It was a cut-price stainless steel bracelet with my name engraved on it that I had received from my best friend. I was only 10, but I loved that bracelet. I remember wearing it 24/7! I never took that thing off!
I guess when people say “It’s the thought that counts.”, they really mean it. Sometimes it’s the sentiment that makes a gift memorable. A simple engraving just adds that one extra touch.
I, myself, having played guitar for as long as I can remember, found myself drawn to the idea of personalising guitar capos. Music is something I’ve always loved, so when my daughter asked if I could teach her how to play guitar, I was beyond happy. I wanted to give her a gift, similar to the one I received when I was her age. First thing that came to mind? A guitar capo with her name engraved on it! So, as a piece of encouragement, I got one personalised for her and just like the bracelet I received when I was younger, she loved the guitar capo.
