Doug and I are spending our retirement years traveling, photographing and creating. We have a large portfolio of wall art images that we offer in local galleries but we wanted to showcase some of our work in creative, affordable ways by offering our original work on notecards, greeting cards, calendars, as well as photographic prints complemented with beautiful double-matting.
We handcraft our notecards by printing, cutting and scoring and folding each one. We have a number of different subject collections that contain either 20 or 24 cards and envelopes in an embossed gift box.
The Marcy's Photo Journey signature wall calendars are some of the finest quality you will find. Typically, calendars fold in the middle, but our top-bound format presents a clean view. The pearl finish paper gives a subtle shimmer to the images, and the 9x12 monthly images can be framed and used as wall art!
This year’s desk calendar edition is a nice 8 inch x 8 inch format that makes an affordable but thoughtful gift item!

4 out of 5 starsThe photos in this set are gorgeous! But, the card stock itself is a little disappointing. It has a texture that kind of masks the quality and detail of the photos. I think it would be much nicer on a glossy card stock.

Marcy's Photo Journey
Welcome!
I am Marcy, and along with my husband Doug, we are the creative force behind Marcy’s Photo Journey.
Doug has a background in software engineering and I am an educator, but we have come to love the possibility of capturing the beauty around us through photography.
“Marcy’s Photo Journey” emerged as the title for a Social Media Group where we shared our images with family and friends. The name was chosen to reflect our journey in the creative process, and also to reflect the many places we have visited and subjects we have chosen.
As time went on, we received very positive feedback from our work along with awards in photography competitions and juried selections of our images for public display. Friends and family requested wall art reproductions, and we decided to offer images through print-on-demand sites, then matted prints at various local art fairs.
With heartening results from our sales, we formed a small business. We wanted our business to reflect our world view, which is encompassed in the scripture passage of Lamentations 3:21-23, assuring us that the Lord is forever faithful and that His mercies are new every morning. Our passion is certainly one that strives to produce beautiful images, but we also love the opportunity to provide a means of encouragement to others.
