Margalit is incredibly friendly, creative, prompt, and professional! She created a beautiful tzedakah box from our wedding break glass shards using my own pictures as inspirations for her work. Despite the fact that we needed to ship the shards from California to Israel and have the box shipped back the other way, everything was seamless and so quick - less than a month from start to finish! The final produce is beautiful and unique and will be a treasured memento from our wedding. Thank you!

About

Mosaic :The Magic of putting the shards together

Actually, Mosaic caught me by surprise.

I’ve left a demanding day-job after many years, with no clue what the future holds.

I met a friend, and she brought “just a little something” to create a mosaic on, just for fun. And that’s it! I was hooked.

Mosaics are a passion. When I just started out, I didn’t have the resources to buy expensive materials and equipment, so I found myself scavenging, collecting and experimenting with everyday materials that anyone can use.

It showed me that mosaics are for everyone, anyone can do it, and the skies are the limit.

This is what I teach my students today: in my home studio, at retirement homes, arts collages and with army veterans.

Since I am self-taught, thanks to the great school of the Web, I’m not directly inspired by one teacher and I’m free to follow my own ideas. The materials, colors and textures are directing my work, and many times I follow my intuition and not a blueprint.

Bringing together different pieces to a new whole, bringing life back to materials no one uses anymore - it’s still magic for me, and I’m delighted when my students “catch the mosaics bug” and enjoy this therapeutic magic.

Many of the works I choose to display at my Etsy store were chosen by their weight. I’m aware of international shipping rates, and want the buyer to feel Mosaic art is available and easy to get, even though it’s a handmade piece of art!

I take great pride in quality finishing and details, and I see it as an integral part of the art I love and enjoy.

The fact that people all over the world choose to buy my mosaic products fills me with joy, when I think that a small item of mine was sent to brighten someone’s day, somewhere out there on the globe. It’s a very fulfilling feeling!

Shipping
I ship worldwide, standard shipping. Express shipping is optional by request for additional fee .

Shipping mainly is via the Israeli Post Authorities, and all shipping prices listed per item are for ‘Registered’ shipping, which is traceable through the ‘Delivery Tracking’ feature in the following link: http://www.israelpost.co.il/itemtrace.nsf/mainsearch?openform&L=EN .
Delivery from Israel normally takes around 10 to 14 business days. If you find yourself waiting longer, either track the package or contact me and I’ll see what the status is.

Mosaics are often heavy and fragile. I use only the best delivery packages and methods to get my precious items to you safely. That means sometimes, especially for big or heavy items, shipping will be a bit pricey. It's worth it if you want your mosaic intact.

Please note that buyers are responsible for any and all duties and customs charges that may be incurred.
** And finally, I’d love to hear from you when you get your order.** and get a feedback, here on Etsy.
