About

Jewelry design's been in the family for 100 years. Inspired by great-grandma Ethel, The Silver Lady (1907-2000), presenting Margolis Goldberg.

Margolis Goldberg is the handmade jewelry and goods shop of Jae Szeszycki-Truesdell. You'll find art jewelry in Jae's work which often questions the conventional terms of wealth, wearable and precious. The shop features work with vintage, upcycled, semiprecious, precious and commonplace materials coming together in one-of-a-kind, limited production handmade pieces. As opposed to valuing quantity of mass production, at Margolis Goldberg the focus is on high quality standards of workmanship and design.

Values:
Thoughtfulness, Honesty, Fairness, Appreciation of Beauty & Excellence, Curiosity and Service.

Vision:
Valuing craftsmanship and the individual artisan with attention to curiosity, creativity and the combination of reusing vintage, discarded and unexpected materials with alloy, semiprecious and precious metals, gemstones and natural materials with a commitment to excellence in quality, design and durability.

Mission:
Acquire excellent materials and combine them with beauty, excellence, wearability and durability in mind altering and improving each piece until sale worthy.

Pricing:
Margolis Goldberg pricing is straight forward and consistent.

[Labor ($13.77 rate per hour of work on each piece) + materials] X 1.1 (overhead) = wholesale price

Wholesale price X 2 = Retail price

What if MargolisGoldberg jewelry breaks under "normal" use?

If your jewelry fails to hold up to normal use in its lifetime, please contact me so we can discuss repair, return or exchange in possible extenuating circumstances. I value wearability, durability and craftsmanship and may use normal use failure as a possible opportunity for improvement.

Does MargolisGoldberg jewelry come packaged in gift boxes or gift wrap?

MargolisGoldberg offers handmade jewelry from Jae's studio and invites you to package your purchase once received if intended as a gift as it will not be gift wrapped before shipping.

What is the difference between vintage and antique?

Vintage refers to materials and items 20-99 years old and antique refers to 100 or more years.
