Announcement   Welcome to my ETSY shop!!
All the jewelry pieces you will find here are handcrafted with love and care at my studio.
I have been fabricating jewelry for over 12 years and I deeply enjoy all the processes involved. My passion is to transform raw materials into small pieces of art that will enhance the personal beauty and style from each of my clients.

Lately I have been exploring with the use of non-conventional materials such as canvas painted with acrylic to add a colorful and playful element. Each piece you will find involves a great deal of work and technical skills so please contact me if you are interested in learning more of the creative process.

My goal as an artist is to promote the great value of handmade pieces, since I believe a special ‘magic’ occurs when the inherent spirit of the craftsmen blends with the essence of the person wearing the finished object.

Thank you so much for visiting this webpage and please feel welcome to comment and ask any questions. I hope you enjoy it!

About

...special ‘magic’ occurs when the inherent spirit of the craftsmen blends with the essence of the person wearing the finished object

I was born in Mexico City in 1983. At the age of 2 my family moved to Patzcuaro, a small colonial town with a strong indigenous presence. Being the daughter of artist parents I grew up in a Bohemian atmosphere surrounded by an international community of creators.
In 1999 I settled in San Miguel de Allende, another artist´s influenced town and then, in 2001, went to Paris for a year, where I confirmed my interest in jewelry design and creation. Back in San Miguel I started studying at the Sterling Quest School under the tutoring of Billy King. From the very first time I held a torch and soldered a piece, I realized that I had found a true passion and became a full time jeweler.
In the summer of 2003 I received a scholarship from the Lachance Foundation to attend a Gemology course at the Ecole de Gemmologie de Montreal as well as other workshops such as Precious Metal Clay Techniques, Glass Beads Fabrication and Polymer Clay techniques, all of which enriched my possibilities.
It has been over 12 years since I settled my own studio and I´m still amazed by the endless and surprising possibilities that precious metals offer. It is by crafting each piece, from drawing the design through sewing, soldering and sanding to setting precious stones, cleaning and finally polishing that I find the satisfaction of my work.
The past years have been of a self-teaching experience that allowed me to discover Keum-Boo (an ancient Korean technique that consists in joining 24K Gold leaf to Fine Silver by applying heat and pressure), Lost Wax Casting, gold plating and, more recently, the use of non-conventional materials such as acrylic painted canvas and oxidized copper.
I live in the beautiful countryside of San Miguel de Allende with my husband and our two beautiful sons.
I’m currently a member of a local cooperative gallery, named Izamal Gallery where must of my pieces are displayed and sold along with my colleague´s paintings.
My goal as an artist is to promote the great value of handmade pieces, since I believe a special ‘magic’ occurs when the inherent spirit of the craftsmen blends with the essence of the person wearing the finished object.

I live and work in beautiful San Miguel de Allende, México most of the year and I have a warehouse in San Diego, California, USA, from where your purchased piece will be sent via USPS Priority Mail, this will make it safe and less expensive for your convenience!!! I send my finished pieces to California twice a month at the moment.

Items will be shipped to you within 2-3 weeks once your payment is cleared via USPS Priority Mail; usually it takes up to a week to deliver the package to its final destination once shipped. I will send you a confirmation shipping note and estimated delivery date.

OPTION 2: INTERNATIONAL FEDEX

If you are interested in receiving your purchased piece faster, please select a Shipping Upgrade that appears as INTERNATIONAL FEDEX, meaning that you would get your piece directly from me in a door to door FedEx service which only takes 4 to 5 days to deliver. Prices vary depending on final destination, ranging from 25USD-40USD in America and 40-USD-60USD around the globe per package, not per piece. Signature is required upon delivery.
IMPORTANT: Import duties, tariffs, taxes, and any other fees imposed by your country (other than USA) are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These additional costs are the BUYER'S responsibility. Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to purchase

UNDELIVERABLE PACKAGES:
Please make sure that your shipping address is up to date with PayPal and Etsy. I ship to the payment address provided and I cannot accept responsibility for misdirected packages. Please note that I have no responsibility for lost or damaged orders while en route and in the care of USPS, but since your satisfaction is my goal, please convo me within the first seven days after the package is delivered to you with any damage and I will do my best to either fix, replace the piece or deal with USPS, even though worst case scenario, extra shipping fees will be at your expense.
I take great care to package and ship my items to ensure no damage, however, accidents during transit can happen. A picture of the damaged item is needed for replacement items.
