Exactly what I wanted. Good service.
Mine is not a full-time business but I work to professional standards at a hobby about which I am passionate. When I found Etsy, I thought I had found the right place to try and sell my work. Browsing the shops and listings, it was obvious that many Etsy artisans and customers really appreciate the artistry and the hours that go into making quality art and craftworks. All the flowers in the shop are individually made using artist quality materials, and mostly planted in hand-made containers sourced from fellow artisans.
I love flowers and gardens, especially British cottage flowers and gardens, and I hope it shows in my work. My flowers are intended to look as if they might have just been picked from my own very imperfect garden, so some in a bunch or on a plant might be older than others, and there may be a petal or two that is drooping or even dropping. If you want florist-perfect blooms, then mine are probably not going to be to your taste.
I was first of all a painter and naturally, flowers are one of my favourite subjects. You can see more of my art work, which includes still life, landscape, and textile pieces, on my website. If you should like anything enough to want to buy, I can put up a listing for you here on Etsy.
New! Art cards featuring images reproduced from some of my paintings.
Owner, Maker, Designer, Photography, Despatch, Etc
Bitten by the miniature bug a few years ago, I found my niche making tiny flowers and plants. This uses all the skills acquired at Art School, where I studied for a Fine Art Degree as a mature student after moving to Wales some years ago.

The print studio I use is a friendly, family run business, which supports The Woodland Trust project. They use only carbon captured papers for the production of all their greetings cards.
Accepted payment methods
❑ I ship 1-3 working days after payment is received. Unfortunately I cannot guarantee delivery times as these depend on postal services and international packages may also be delayed by customs checks.
❑ My items are all handmade and generally fragile, and are packaged safely, usually in stout outer boxes with biodegradable (corn) chips around an inner container. If you are allergic to corn, please let me know WHEN PURCHASING (a delay may mean your package is already in the mail) and I can pack your item(s) using non-eco chips. Most of my boxes are new, but I occasionally recycle suitable boxes.
Refunds and Exchanges
❑ If your purchase has arrived with either the item or the packaging damaged, please send me photos of the damage right away (photos are needed for an insurance claim).
❑ I cannot offer exchanges as my items are all individually made and I will not have (or be able to make) an identical replacement.
❑ You have 14 (calendar) days in which to return an item if you simply decide you don't want it, without explanation. Items must be returned by a tracked service with proof of delivery and packed so that no damage is sustained en route. Please note, if you are returning an item because you have simply changed your mind, the return postage will not be refundable, and a deduction will be made if the items are not received back in the same condition as they were despatched.
❑ Here is a link to the form you can use if you wish to cancel a purchase:
❑ If you cancel your order after it has been despatched, please do not accept or open the package when it arrives, but request it is returned to sender and mark it clearly 'Merchandise, Returned to Sender', unless the packaging has been damaged (see above). Any import charges imposed by UK customs if your returning item is over £15 in value will be deducted from the refund amount, but these charges are avoidable if your return is clearly marked 'Merchandise, Returned to Sender'.
❑ Custom-made items are not refundable but I will be eager to work with you to see if we can put right any problems that may arise.
