I am Marissa:) I am the person behind Marissa Kay Apothecary! I offer to you Artisanal Handcrafted Botanical Self Care Goods. We source as many of the herbs as we can from our own garden. My work is my Prayer and Meditation. Every element of production is Infused with Love and Peace for your Whole-Self.

My passion for creating started with my absolute love of food. I am proud to say I won the Brooklyn Bloody Mary Contest, in New York, 3 times woohoo:) I started selling online because I wanted to stay home to homeschool our daughter, and we love homesteading. I am very passionate about living off the land and being responsible with this amazing, beautiful planet as much as possible.

I have a background in Microbiology and the Culinary Arts. Also, I graduated from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition. There I learned hundreds of different dietary theories and a priceless whole-self approach to health. Currently, I am a student of Rosemary Gladstar's famous herbalism program. Rosemary is one of the most beloved and well-know folk herbalist, and I am so grateful to be going through her amazing program.

A percentage of every purchase goes to promoting women in the sciences, supporting the environment, especially the bees, other pollinators, and the coral reefs.
