Mark Romanowsky is a founding director of LP&CT and donates all artwork proceeds to benefit LP&CT.
The Lowell Parks & Conservation Trust (LP&CT) is a private, non-profit land trust located in Lowell, Massachusetts. LP&CT was founded in 1990 by residents with a vision to protect the natural resources upon which the city of Lowell was built. LP&CT provides conservation leadership and programs which focus on four major areas: land protection, stewardship, environmental education, and special places:
-Creating connections through land protection;
-Providing after-school environmental education programs for urban youth;
-Creating and enhancing neighborhood parks, streetscapes, and special places; and,
-Tree planting for wildlife, air quality, aesthetics, and shade.
Dr. Mark Romanowsky, founding director and current President of LP&CT, has generously worked over several years to create a series of oil paintings featuring the special places of Lowell, as well as scenes from the surrounding area, coastal areas, and his travels. Mark graciously donates 100% of the proceeds from the sale of his original paintings, prints, and note cards to benefit LP&CT.
