Beautiful!! Great quality print, can't wait to get it framed and hang it.
Inspired by nature, I let go of the outcome and allow the creative process to become meditation.
I am an artist and the owner, maker and designer of the Martha Ebner: Works on Paper Shop. My work is about observation, process and energy. Inspired by nature, I use line to depict movement, color to convey tension and black and white to capture stillness. I consciously let go of the outcome and prioritize the physical experience of mark making. This allows the creative process to unfold and become a form of meditation. Each piece in my Etsy Shop starts from a place of observation and exploration.
“We shall not cease from exploration
And the end of all our exploring
Will be to arrive where we started
And know the place for the first time.”
― T.S. Eliot, Four Quartets

I have a fine arts degree in oil painting. In college, when I wasn’t painting, I could always be found in the printmaking studio. The spontaneity of the medium allows me to document a single moment of time. Put several moments together and I have the series of an idea, the thought process, captured on paper. So exciting to see. Plus I love getting ink under my nails, it’s like coming home.
My work has been exhibited in both solo and group exhibitions in the United States and can be found in the following collections:
Boston Public Library, Boston, MA
DeCordova Museum and Sculpture Park, Lincoln, MA
Smith College Museum of Art, Northampton, MA
Frans Masereel Centrum, Kasterlee, Belgium
Portland Museum of Art, Portland, ME
Spencer Timm Private Collection, Book Collector, Chesterfield, MA
Vivian and Gordan Gilkey Collection for Graphic Arts, Portland Art Museum, Portland, OR
If you find you have any questions about my shop, please ask.
Thank you for taking the time to look and I hope you enjoy!

Caring for your works on paper:
All works on paper are quite fragile. When framing consider using an acid free or archival matt material, frame with UV protection and hang art away from direct sunlight and moisture. This will help preserve your art purchase so you can enjoy it for many years to come!
