Getting ready for that next arts and craft show can get pretty messy in the studio! Looking forward to the holiday show at Topsail Beach on November 25.

This was my setup for the Kris Kringle Craft Show on Thanksgiving weekend at Topsail Beach. It was a very tiny space. We all had a great time! Thanks to all who made this event a HUGE success.

I listened to some spa zen music while painting "Marsh Island." I used sea salt for a resist effect in the wet paint.

Working on my abstract scarlet, pink, and gold series is a little messy but a lot of fun.

I used one of the beach rocking chairs on our cottage deck to paint the original of "Seaside Serenade," from which this print comes. This artwork took a top prize at the "Autumn with Topsail" festival on Topsail Island.

A black matted turtle print would look great in a brown frame with just a little black trim like this frame has, and both the black and brown would pick up the detail colors in the turtle's shell.
