Adorable comfortable cardis and friendly service. I am 5'8" female usually a size Medium. The XS is very slightly small at the hips, but still fits quite well. Lovely tucked into a circle skirt or with jeans or trousers, open or buttoned. The prints are perfect.

The ink on my shirt is grey and not white like the picture shows. It is also too big for me but it is super cute so I don't mind! My preschool students are obsessed with unicorns and I know they'll love it!
From Sidewalk Stencils to Water Based Screen Printing
After a cross country search for something different than humidity, skeeters, gators, and kudzu, I landed in Los Angeles, found a job and a roach infested apartment. Whilst working this unfulfilling job, I began to take my art to the street. And the sidewalks.
I started spraying these stencils on American Apparel tees after many requests from friends, and so began my Press & Stitchery.
With the theft of my bike, my lovely little car, my naivety, and anything not bolted down, I decided to leave the city and head north. The money I saved in rent paid for my screen printing press and I took to printing full time. I started my Etsy shop, taking part time jobs until 2010. Now, I am fully sustained with Etsy orders and the many boutiques that carry my wares across the country.
Steering clear of sweatshops, I print American Apparel shirts with eco friendly water based ink using traditional methods to ensure fair wages for workers and comfort for you body and conscience. Over the years, I have listened to customers and now accommodate other brands and items, but I always strive for social responsibility in my offerings.
It's been a long and trying journey, but fulfilling throughout. I love running into strangers wearing my shirts. I love the people who come to craft fairs just for my booth. And I love supporting myself with art.
Born in Florida, Marty has been on the move since she was 18. She formed her Press & Stitchery during her years in LA. Now residing in Northern California, Marty lives a life of adventure, art, work and merrymaking, growing all the time.
