I delight in creating mixed-media paintings layered with maps! I find inspiration in vintage atlases I collect, fascinated by the antiquated pages and the ideas of time and travel they contain. Maps and cartographic elements are repeating motifs in my work because I love both the concept and imagery of maps.

5 out of 5 starsVery impressive. Love the textures. I don't know why but for some reason it reminds me of the Easter Islands sculptures.

5 out of 5 starsI love how the light catches the copper. It has a very interesting combination of images and I like the blues with the copper colorations.

5 out of 5 starsIt is a wonderful design. I love the different textures in it. Everyone should have a least one map with the word map in it.

5 out of 5 starsI like the mixture and real maps and paint. I like the coppery paint with the tinges of green and the dark blue.
