Mesa: The mill has discontinued Mesa for more than a year -- BUT the mill found some in the warehouse and offered it to me. I now have a smallish supply for dyeing. Mesa has loads of texture with 400 yards/skein and is approximately 4 ounces, hand-dyed by Mary Gavan Yarns, LLC.

5 out of 5 starsThe yarn is even prettier up close than it is in the picture. Glad I bought all 8 colors. I ordered it on Wednesday and it arrived on Friday. Very happy!

5 out of 5 starsThis yarn is just as pictured and so lovely! It is soft and has a lovely weight and drape to it. I can't wait to dye it and knit it up into a summer crop tank top! The packaging was very sweet, too :)

I've worked as a fiber artist for more than 40 years.
After many years of dyeing yarn and weaving decorative wall art, I made the decision to bring my hand-dyed yarns to the marketplace.
During my dyeing and weaving career, photography became a necessity for creating film slides as a part of submitting applications to art shows, as well as for advertising purposes. I purchased my first camera, a 35mm Canon, and got to work.
I have learned that photographing my hand-dyed yarns and then using the images for printing on mugs, coasters, totes, and puzzles is as creative as it is enjoyable.
I became interested in the Etsy marketplace for selling my yarn to fiber artists and the knitting community. I didn't know that photography would become part of my creative adventure. But I'm loving it!
