The name of my bear business was “Mary’s Little Lamb”. The domain, maryslittlelamb.com, is for sale on “Go Daddy” if anyone is interested in buying it. My son is handling the sale.

During the period approximately 1990 through 2000 my sympathetic bears with their big feet and colored noses found homes all across the country and around the world. They had been written up in TEDDY BEAR REVIEW and TEDDY BEAR and FRIENDS. They had been nominated by the GOLDEN TEDDY Awards and the TOBY Awards.

In 2001, after suffering from severe bear "burn out" I walked away from the world of teddy bear making. Shortly after that my late husband and I packed up my shop and moved to Paradise, California. A couple of years later, sadly, my German husband passed away. Eventually I remarried and changed my name to Mary Braz.

Recently, Hub and I decided it was time to open the trunks that held most of the supplies from my bear making days. We opened three trunks filled with only mohair. Another trunk full of bagged teddy bear parts; some that were cut and sewn and some cut and ready to be sewn. I found a bin with my patterns and supplies, as well as one full of vintage baby clothes, ribbons and lace.

Little by little I am listing and selling these items to all who are interested.
