Illustrated greeting cards by Masha D'yans.

Masha D’yans grew up in St. Petersburg, Russia. Much of her childhood was spent playing in the snow and the city’s grand baroque palaces, sharing funny stories, and making things out of found materials (a near necessity at the time). Some years and geo-political zones later, that same improvisational spirit, scrappy imagination, and playful curiosity continue to motivate much of her life and work. Masha comes from three generations of kickass female artists and a nuclear physicist dad. She also picked up some tips and tricks from the following rigorous schools: Life (the school of), St. Petersburg Academic Art Lyceum and the Cooper Union in NY, from which she holds a BFA. The rest, of course, was pieced together from the internet.

After graduating, Masha worked as an art director in advertising and design firms but she never forgot her love of paining. She started a greeting card line to feature her watercolor works inspired by nature, fairy tales, Japan and her refusal to grow up. The cards quickly caught the attention of taste-makers like Barneys NY, Louis Boston and Fred Segal. With contributions from Masha’s rebel artist and fashion designer mom, today Masha D’yans Design offers sendable art and more for playful free-thinkers at masha.com and in shops internationally.

In addition to her own line, Masha has been designing pop-up holiday cards for MoMA as well as calendars for Rizzoli. She’s done t-shirts and home collections for Urban Outfitters and Garnet Hill among others. Check out her work at masha.com. You can also shop her picture books on Amazon.com, her home decor items at http://society6.com/MashaDyans

Shipping
Shipping
WHERE IS MY ORDER AND HOW WILL IT GET HERE?

Please allow up to 5 business days for your order to be processed and shipped.

DOMESTIC CUSTOMERS:

Our default shipping method is USPS First Class Mail. We ship from Minnesota, so it can sometimes take 5 business days for packages to reach the coasts via First Class Mail. Priority Mail packages are usually delivered within three days of shipping, but the USPS does not guarantee delivery by a certain date for Priority packages.

We are happy to ship Priority Mail for an extra charge. Shipping upgrades are available to the time of check out.

INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS:

We do ship internationally; however, we cannot promise your package will arrive by a certain date. Sometimes packages are held up in Customs for seemingly no reason, and transit times vary wildly. For example, we have had packages reach the UK anywhere from 10 days to 24 days after sending.

We ship overseas via First Class Mail International, which is the only cost-effective option (and as you can see, even that is quite expensive). This method doesn't provide reliable tracking information.

We are not responsible for any additional customs tariffs or charges that your country imposes on your package, nor can we predict what they might be.

For more information about customs fees, please read the Etsy FAQ:
