Jeffrey Michael Stelter, a managing member of Tilted Tombstone Studios LLC and lead artist, craftsman, teacher and entertainer, developed an early interest in the arts, not only as a ‘Dreamer’ but also as a ‘Doer’. Classes in the art and woodworking field helped develop these talents. As a man of action, Jeffrey relocated to Orlando Florida shortly after graduating high school. Jeffrey’s first job experience was working at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom in retail sales. Determined to follow his dreams of working in the entertainment field, Jeffrey obtained an internship with David Nations Photography as photographer’s assistant. This would be of considerable importance to his career.
Within the first year of his internship he was being used as a fill in model and that led to gaining multiple agents and booking commercials on a frequent basis including a primary for Harley Davidson. Jeffrey’s big break came when he auditioned for Universal Studios new actor A character Hercules from the hit show Hercules: The Legendary Journeys. Jeffrey was offered the full time year contact as the primary performer. This position involved live action stunt performing, special engagement and promo work as well as interaction with theme park attendees. Great performances and top notch employee traits gained Jeffrey a second year contract. During this period Jeffrey continued to book commercials and modeling as well as learning the entertainment industry hands on. After the Hercules character was cancelled, Jeffrey sought to add to his resume. Using the contacts he gained while working behind the scenes at Universal Studios and his fabrication skills, Jeffrey opened a world class scenic arts fabrication shop and called it Stelter Creative. This venture is what catapulted him into what would become his lifelong career. Jeffrey’s reputation as a builder of the best props and scenery in the industry led to clients such as Walt Disney World, Universal Studios, Jim Henson Studios, Lucasfilm and NASA. He quickly became a key vendor for Disney Imagineering and worked closely with Imagineers to create some of the newest and most exciting attractions in Orlando. After over a decade of managing Stelter Creative, Jeffrey and his business partner built and opened a groundbreaking bar called Joysticks Orlando. Joysticks was propelled to the top of the ratings and was soon being called the best night time destination in Orlando. Jeffrey’s creative personality is continually seeking new ideas for the future, always in hopes
of creating the next big thing!
