love this bag, very happy with purchase!

EDIT***I have to edit my review. After having this bag for awhile and just now starting to use it I have come to realize that the pattern is upside down on the opposite side of the bag. I just didn't see this when it arrived. There was nothing in the description of the bag to warn me what I would be getting, so buyer beware. If you have a directional print you had better ask before you buy!

However, the seller did offer to replace it but no longer had the same fabric. I love the overall quality of the bag and the seller was very helpful in getting the bag to me. I am only disappointed that the directional fabric was upside down on the opposite side of the bag and that I was not made aware of this before purchase.

About

Always learning, I began my crafting adventures at age three.

By day: Special Education Teacher. . .By night: Crafter.

I come by my sewing and knitting naturally. My grandmothers were knitters and seamstresses, and my mother a home economics teacher. My first sewing project was with my friend Jeff at age three--we made headbands. What can I say? It was the 70s.

Since then, I've spent years honing my craft. I made many outfits for my six foot tall frame in high school, including my ankle length woolen coat and my prom dress. I moved from there to quilting in college, and found a job making custom clothing and draperies in my twenties to help pay for college. The bags I create today are intended to put high quality fabrics and careful stitching together into a functional piece of art that will add a bit of fun to your every day.

Throughout my childhood I was exposed to just about every textile craft you can imagine--and I loved them all. However knitting took a bit longer to catch. My grandmother taught me as a girl, but I couldn't figure out the darn tension--and the squeak of the acrylic yarn against my aluminum needles wasn't as relaxing as I find the glide of wool over my addi turbos to be today. I use my knowledge of clothing construction design, and love for simple, functional items to guide my pattern writing.

I am active in my local knitting guild, and marry my degree in education to my love of knitting and teach weekly classes in my home, and am available to travel to teach near you.

Thanks for shopping, I hope you find something you love as much as I loved making it.

May was a knitter, and Bea a seamstress. Together, they were my grandmothers. Each was able to teach me a bit of their craft, and their inspiration has encouraged me to create functional accessories for knitters and knitting patterns that are simpl
