Sweet Celebrations!

Mayflower Market started in 2011 as a fun idea for homeschooling mom, Melissa, and her daughters, Rebecca and Elizabeth. Rebecca had become an amazing crocheter after years of making gifts for her friends as a child and young teenager and Melissa was enjoying making jewelry with buttons. We started doing craft fairs and wanted a way for Elizabeth to get involved, so we added candy lollipops. Making party favors has become the part of the business that keeps us the busiest! We love working with people on custom orders to make their occasions even more special. It's an honor to be part of such sweet celebrations!

We are hoping to add a home and nursery section in 2015, that will include baby blankets (quilted and crocheted), button artwork, and luxurious crochet dishcloths and spa washcloths. We look forward to adding special touches to your homes as well as your parties!

For payment we accept Paypal or major credit cards through direct checkout. There will be a .06% sales tax added automatically to residents of Idaho.
Shipping
Our crochet items are shipped USPS First Class Mail. Many items are made to order, and may take 3-5 days to hand craft. Please allow for slight variations from product photos as each item is uniquely handmade. However, we try to make items as true to the photos as possible. Please let me know if you need something urgently and we will try to expedite shipping.

We ship all lollipops, pretzels and other candy USPS (2-3 day) Priority Mail, and in warmer weather, the shipping cost includes re-usable gel ice packs. We have signature confirmation available to purchase for an additional fee. This is to ensure that packages aren't left on a hot porch if someone is not home to receive them. We send shipping notifications with a tracking number so you can know when to expect delivery. If someone will be home to receive the package, the signature confirmation is not necessary. We DO NOT GUARANTEE perishable items such as lollipops, pretzels and other candy against melting, but we DO drop them off packaged cold at the post office, ship 2-3 day Priority Mail, and include ice packs for free. When it gets warmer, we also ship candy only on Monday through Wednesday (or Thursday, depending on where it's going), to avoid having the candy sit around in a warm post office over the weekend. We have had very few problems with melting, even in August, and strive to avoid any disappointments. We try to ship orders to arrive a week before your event, in case there are any problems we may still have time to rectify any shipping mishaps. If your order does not meet your expectations, contact us immediately.

Our candy is shelf-stable and lasts for weeks at normal room temperature (under 75 degrees or so). It may be refrigerated or frozen as well. Just allow to come to room temperature before serving for the melt-in-your-mouth texture. When it is warmer weather, we can fit less of the candy per shipping box (to accommodate ice packs), so the shipping cost increases in the summer. Since our candy may be refrigerated or frozen, we recommend planning ahead and ordering between mid-September to late April (and storing your candy in the freezer) for less expensive shipping.

Please make sure your shipping address is correct. We only ship candy to USPS verified addresses.

GIFTS! If this item is a gift, we would be happy to enclose a gift card with a personalized message at no extra charge. Just let me know in the comments to seller section at check out, or contact me before your purchase.

International orders: We always ship with the appropriate customs paperwork. We are not responsible for customs fees, taxes, or import charges. Also, on customs forms, we will declare the honest value of all items shipped overseas. Sorry, but we cannot be responsible for delays in delivery of international packages, since some items could be held up in customs. We are also not responsible for items shipped to incorrect addresses (as entered by you into Paypal or Etsy) or for items not delivered because of refusal or inability to accept the delivery, or refusal to pay customs fees. Prices quotes for international shipping are for first class, USPS shipping. We do not ship candy items internationally at this time.

We do everything we can to ensure all items are packaged well and shipped promptly at the least cost to the buyer! Let us know if you have questions or special requests!
Refunds and Exchanges
Please contact us immediately if any problems arise with items you receive. We will happily work to resolve any issues that come up.

Your crocheted items may be returned within 2 weeks of receiving them for an exchange or refund. The buyer is responsible for return shipping costs. Shipping charges will NOT be refunded. Please contact us before returning any items.
