Love love the invitations but most of the corrections that I asked be done before everything was mailed out was never done.

Mayla Studios is a 100% end-to-end customized design shop located in the farmlands of Virginia, a few miles outside of Washington, D.C. Being amongst the true birthplace of the rustic trend, we live and breathe inspiration. Our shop is located between a working apple orchard and a vintage inspired winery – so inspiration is never but a few feet out the door.

The personalization of our designs allow brides to express their selves through beautiful paper invitations. We are devoted to making a bride’s day as personal and magical as they’ve always dreamt it would be. Whether they are the classic type or have modern taste, we work with each bride personally to ensure their vision transfers to paper.

We have under ten employees, so we pride ourselves on the pint size of our shop – we know how brides can get lost in the design process with some large vendors, so we listen to and work with each bride to make sure they are in empowered and in full control of the final design.

We work within all budgets because we understand the pressure of pulling off a beautiful wedding with the bottom line in mind.

DO YOU HAVE A MINIMUM ORDER?
No order is too small! That's why we are a custom studio, we create to your needs.

WHAT IS THE ORDERING PROCESS?
For Wedding Invitations: We strongly encourage everyone to first purchase a sample to make sure you know exactly what you are getting for your investment. This is your opportunity to get a feel for our card stock and printing methods before purchasing your full order. Once you receive your sample and fall in love with it (and we know you will!) please contact us for a informal estimate.

DO YOU ADDRESS ENVELOPES?
Yes, we offer digital calligraphy for both outer mailing envelopes and RSVP envelopes.

HOW MANY INVITATIONS SHOULD I ORDER?
It's always recommended that you get together with friends & family to determine the needed quantity. Invitations are too costly (and precious!) to order 20 extra and then have them go to waste. And you don't want to order too little and have to pay extra for more. We usually suggest 10 extra if you have a good count. You never know if you'll get a new job with new coworkers or new neighbors.

WHAT IF I HAVE ORDERED MY INVITATIONS BUT JUST NEED A FEW ADDITIONAL?
No problem! We don't have a set quantity, so if you need us to print and ship a few more invitations to you, just let us know and we will be happy to do so!

WHAT DATE SHOULD I USE ON MY RSVP CARDS?
This is a really good question for your wedding planner and/or caterer. Traditionally, the recommendation is 3 - 4 weeks from your wedding/event date.

DO YOU HAVE LINED ENVELOPES?
YES! Envelope liners are a great way to add another punch of color or that extra personalized detail your invitations need. Ask about custom designs as well.

CAN YOU PERSONALIZE SAMPLES?
We can't promise we will personalize the samples you purchase. We will try our best if requested, but due to time constrictions, we can't guarantee it.

WHAT OTHER SERVICES DO YOU OFFER?
We can do anything imaginable. From seating charts, table numbers, place cards, programs, signs, tags, etc. If you can dream it up, we will figure a way to do it. We can also provide design files for other pieces such as, runners, banners, napkins and anything paper or linen.

DO YOU PROOFREAD?
We might catch a mistake here and there but we ask that customers proof read and spell check thoroughly. All proofs are done by email. Proofing spelling, punctuation and grammar is solely the customers' responsibility. Once you approve the digital proof, that is what prints. Any corrections after that, we will try to correct if we have not printed yet. However, if your order has already printed, the customer will be charged a reprinting fee and responsible for all materials purchased at cost.

The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Digital downloads
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
Unfortunately, we do not offer refunds on any digital designs.

Deposits are non-refundable as they are used to custom purchase materials for the order.

Customers will have ample opportunities to approve your PDFs with your event information. Once final PDF's are approved and printing has occurred, if there is a mistake found on the invitation we cannot be held financially responsible. If the error is found before assembly begins, we will be happy to correct the error at the cost of any wasted materials. However, no refunds will be offered on any order where the PDF was approved by the customer.
Payment
We accept both PayPal and Direct Checkout methods of payment.

An item may be listed at a certain base price, but that may change depending on additions and modifications to orders.

CANCELLATION POLICY: If an order has already been submitted and agreed on, the deposit is forfeited by buyer.
Shipping
We ship all orders via USPS priority. You will be sent a confirmation number once shipped.
If you need rush delivery, please contact us and that will be added to the overall payments.
Additional policies and FAQs
Rush orders are welcome when possible for a fee of between 15-20% depending on the circumstance. Please contact us for more information if you need your order in a hurry!
