Announcement Handmade personally by Barbara McCray in my coastal California Studio. I started using dichroic glass when it was first introduced and have been striving to incorporate it in more innovative designs ever since.

25 years so far and I haven't tired of fusing glass yet. I work at creating different and unique jewelry mixing silver and glass in original designs.

All jewelry is made with either sterling silver ear wires or Niobium. I am always happy to switch either.

I walked into a glass shop in Berkeley California and my life changed completely

My husband and I were walking around the shops in Berkeley California and saw a sign for a fused glass class over the weekend. We took that class together and had so much fun that I started fusing glass the next week.
I have now been fusing glass for over 25 years. I still love it. I love the moment when you open the kiln and see the results of 1500 degrees on glass. Each time is like Christmas.
I make an assortment of unique jewelry and home decoration items. I focus on earrings since they are just a tiny bit of art to wear. I make dozens different and unusual styles of earrings. Experimentation is the joy of creation and many of my creations only exist the one time that I make them.
Dichroic glass is a magical ingredient that can be transformed into delightful sparkly jewelry.
I hope you enjoy wearing my jewelry as much as I enjoy making it.
