Mea Dea Design is my goddess-inspired jewelry line, rooted in nature and mythology, creating one-of-a-kind pieces for you!
Hi! My name is Teya. Thank you so much for being here!
Mea Dea Design grew from my love of nature, mythology, and the strength and inspiration I found in stories of feminine deities from all over the world. “Mea Dea” (Latin for my goddess) comes from a necklace my husband made for me long before we ever imagined a life together. He cast my favorite mythology symbol, and engraved those words on the back. That small heartfelt gift ended up inspiring the entire spirit of this shop, and I still wear it everyday.
I create mostly one-of-a-kind necklaces, along with earrings, bracelets, and hair accessories, using vintage components, natural stones, crystals, wood, and earthy colors that remind me of the outdoors—soft greens, blues, and the tones you’d find on a walk through the trees. My husband and his family introduced me to jewelry making, and I later built a small business called Vintaj Idaho Live Shop with my mother- and sister-in-law. An online shop full of vintage pieces, kits, and tools for other jewelry creators.
Now Mea Dea Design has become my own little corner of the world. A space where I can express and compile my aesthetic and designs, create from the heart, and share pieces that feel the most authentically me.
Creating gives me a sense of purpose and balance as a mom, and my hope is that anyone who wears or uses my designs feels a little more grounded, empowered, and beautiful. I’m grateful for Etsy and for everyone who supports small business owners and creativity. Your support allows me to work in a way that feels purposeful, stay close to my family, and share art that truly means something to me. Thank you for stumbling into my little corner of the world, I hope you like what you see!! <3
