Mechelina Studios specialises in hand dyed and eco-printed textiles using natural dyes. A range of naturally dyed silk, hemp and wool scarves and other accessories are on offer. Natural dyes give beautiful and rich colours. I am inspired by colour, nature and light, the use of natural dyes derived from plants unites these themes. Different techniques such as shibori and eco-printing are used.

5 out of 5 starsThis is a gorgeous piece of silk, apparently hand-hemmed, and in a beautiful yellow shade. The dyes tend more toward mustard than lemon, making the scarf a little more "all season" as it would go nicely with some neutral shades in fall and winter.

4 out of 5 starsNice quality silk scarf. Based on the photos and the description that said "bright pink" I was expecting it to be brighter, but it's more of a darker, dustier fuchsia. Since it's really hard to tell about colors when ordering online and there are a lot of variations on the shade of "fuchsia" it was my error for not asking about it ahead of time. The material is nice and it's pretty sheer so I'll either make it work or pass it to a friend. Thank you for a very pretty scarf and I'll make sure to ask about colors in the future :)

4 out of 5 starsI bought this shawl to use as coverup with my wedding dress. It matched perfectly and is a beautiful pattern. My only disappointment was it was much smaller and lighter weight than I thought it would be. I'm very happy with my purchase none the less!
