All the products here are hand made and to the highest standard. About

How it all started and came to be.

I was a builder once upon a time, one day someone came along a repaired some very ornate 17th century plaster work in a manor house we were converting to a luxury home. The work was so great I never forgot how impressed I was. I left the building industry and went travelling around the world including India, Nepal, Thailand and the United States. Up on my return to the UK I needed a new direction and found myself at college learning 3D design, sculpture and mould making, my teacher was the person who repaired the plaster work some years ago! I left college and went on to University, gained my degree in product design. I then was contacted by Dave my college teacher and plaster man! he explained he did a little mould making for Oakapple Designs, he went to the Cathedrals and took the moulds from the original medieval carvings, and then made the master patterns before production started. He explained how they needed a person to cast the items as the contractor they used was about to finish. This I set up doing and very soon bought the company. Big improvements were made and the company has now grown from a hobby business to a small company with a very nice niche market and large set of retail customers here in the UK, these mainly being the Cathedral shops along with Castles and other places of historic interest. Were now growing and expanding and going from strength to strength, be part of it!
