Self taught artist, continuously celebrating the successes and trying to learn from the mistakes.-in and out of the studio ;)

Born in Brooklyn, NY and raised in the city, I always enjoyed the museums, galleries, intricate architecture and history. Weekend and summer trips to the country rooted a deep need to be in and with nature more and more.

My studio is the incredible Pajama Factory, over looking a gorgeous courtyard in Williamsport, PA. Working with so many different materials, I let my inspirations direct me. Sometimes, if I know I need some grounding, I will get my hands dirty in concrete or clay pieces. Other times, some resin and a burst of creativity charges me up.

We live in a small, rural town. Hiking, camping, kayaking and biking trips are usually where the beginning stages of my creations are hatched. Our home is filled with music, pets, art, science and laughter. The creative atmosphere, open minds and all around goofiness sets the stage for a lot of free expression.

I recycle and utilize a lot of things in the making of my pieces. Food containers, cans, wrappers, veggie baskets, boxes, etc. can all be used as paint palettes, water cups, storage. Milk and juice jugs collect rain water to be used in works.

I've been a long time activist against domestic violence, and sexual assault. As well as advocating for our youngest son who has autism. Our family is involved in environmental clean-ups and various volunteer activities throughout the year.

I love my little corner of Etsy. I am surrounded by incredible artists. If you have any questions please feel free to email me. Also, If you would like to learn more about domestic violence, sexual assault, autism and recycling ideas,..check out the links below (knowledge is power ;)
