My son is getting married in 32 days, the shower is in 11 days. nTheir quilt is in blocks, spread out over my dining room table. nBut I am sitting on my couch, watching World Cup, on row 9 nof the lace chart on the Dane Shawl in Pumpkin Patch....... nDo you think they will mind getting a shawl as a wedding gift? nAnd only temporarily, because this baby is MINE!!!! nSo far, the yarn, color, & pattern are a perfect combo..... nI'll be back for more!!

Indy yarn dyer who loves to knit and weave.

I started my shop after taking a knitting cruise with some great friends and deciding that "Hey! I can do that too"! I love fiber arts and started out years ago dying my own yarns and weaving but now I knit ... all the time and everywhere. I love it. I want everyone to love it just like I do and so I do my very best to keep my yarns as affordable as possible.

Happy healthy animals make for happy healthy fibers. Our small flock is raised as organically as possible while still ensuring their well being. They roam. They graze. In general they do sheepy things while they grow wool for us.

All rovings originate from Meg's flock in Mountain Home, Idaho. She also hand dyes all of our yarns. Shop duties and shipping are handled by Dawn in Saint Paul, MN. You can contact Dawn at crochetcompulsive (at) gmail (dot) com.

All of our fiber is from smoke-free environs. There are pets around though, so we can't promise to be totally cat and dog free too. You never know. They're sneaky and have an affinity for unsupervised soft stuff...
