Helping to bring healing and joy though henna body art
I began Meghan's Mehndi in 2007 in Seattle, Washington. Meghan's Mehndi started out with a few summer festivals and a handful of birthday parties. Now, we have grown to accomodate the increasing henna demand- you can find Megan's Mehndi at street fairs, festivals, private parties, corporate events, Bar and Bat Mitzvahs, Baby showers, Wedding showers, Bachelorette parties, private appointments and more!
My favorite part of henna is getting to meet and connect with such diverse people. I love helping people symbolically represent life's changes, challenges, and transitions. I work with people who are celebrating joyous occasions such as the birth of a baby, an upcoming wedding, or just a fun gathering of friends. I also work with people who are struggling with loss, illness, or difficult transitions. Henna can be a healing way to help bridge these difficult times and to find strength, hope, and beauty.
When I first started experimenting with henna, the kits on the market were all of such poor quality- the cones would break, the henna wouldn't stain, and the oils would leak. This is what inspired me to create high quality henna kits with only professional-grade materials.
I hope you enjoy my shop and that you too find the joy that I do in the art of henna.
