I studied Elementary Education in college, and my two favorite classes in college were Elementary Art (LOVED this) and Children's Literature. I learned in Elementary Art from my beloved professor, Carolgene, that art is about the process, not the product. Art is beneficial for the process of creating, and I loved dabbling in the various mediums we looked at in that class. I would say now that it's about the process & the product. The process of creating for me is beneficial because that's what I was created to do.

Okay, so after college, I realized that my favorite part about teaching was designing bulletin boards (and coming up with art projects). Those gave me tons of passion and energy. I have yet to see a position for solely designing bulletin boards (hey, if you hear of one though...let me know!) but I realize now that the passion for creating is what drives me.

So, after dabbling a bit with making and selling in the past 10 years, you know and having babies, I decided to dive in a bit deeper with making and selling. And that brings us to here: my little etsy shop called Melissa Anne Company. Melissa Anne is my name, and I've always liked it (especially the "e" on Anne). I've tapped into lots of passion and energy through this, and maybe I could inspire you to find your passion, whatever that might be.
