I founded Mello Kids™ to create a safe space for children to develop healthy ways of dealing with complex emotions through drug-free, time-tested meditative and breathing exercises. Why? To help children find compassion for themselves and others.
MEANINGFUL CONTENT
Children today are not starved for content, but they are starved for meaningful and transformative experiences. Here at Mello Kids™ we don't want to add to the noise. Rather we want to create soft spaces that allow breathing room for young bodies and minds. Our content -- like experiencing a sunset or an ocean wave -- is meant to de-stimulate and calm rather than excite and thrill.
ALL ABOUT KINDNESS
We are a small but mighty team that is passionate about helping children develop emotional mastery that inspires them to grow in compassion for themselves and others. Learning to be compassionate to ourselves is the first step in showing true kindness to others.
CONTENT FOR CONTENTMENT
Our content is meant to produce contentment. Compassion takes effort. Quiet, rest and reflection are necessary to produce gratitude which leads to contentment. If we are not content in ourselves - who we are, where we are, what we have - we can never truly show genuine kindness to others.
