What does it mean to be a textile/surface design artist in 2017? Let's find out.
In seeking to support my latest book offering, Playful Fabric Printing: the Complete Guide to Creating Beautiful and Vibrant Cloth using Low-Tech Tools, coauthored with Carol Soderlund and published by Crafting a Life, LLC, I began manufacturing limited run, transparent stamps called Melly Marks. I have partnered with StencilGirl stencils to present a licensed line of stencils.
My latest offering is a Zine called motif Makers, which focused on textile/surface design for textile designers. Combine this with owning a Thermofax machine, I am offering kits!
