About

Original Handmade Art Jewelry and Ornaments from Polymer Clay

I've been designing colorful, innovative and unique handmade art jewelry and hanging ornaments from artist-quality polymer clay for 17 years. I began by making faux Bakelite Cherry jewelry pieces to compliment my favorite vintage clothing outfits when I was unable to locate any suitable pieces for sale within my budget.

Over the years I've added many other items to my jewelry collections, including a line of whimsical cats, nature-inspired Monarch butterfly pieces, baseball and softball jewelry, and Southwestern jewelry and ornaments with Sedona red rock dirt mixed in the matrix.

A perfectionist, much of my work is influenced by my love of nature and is characterized by the use of bright colors, optimistic designs and meticulous attention to tiny details. My work has been featured in the pages of “Making Jewellery Magazine", "PolymerCAFE Magazine” and at "Polymer Clay Daily”, polymerclay.craftgossip.com, and "ClayPlayCafe".

I invite you to visit my Shop Blog where I discuss the stories behind my designs and often include studio photos of the item components being made. A light blue clickable blog link is located directly below.

In my "other life" I'm a professional musician (an oboist) and former university music professor.

I fell in love with the versatile medium of polymer clay 17 years ago. I’m drawn to making optimistic, whimsical and colorful pieces, many inspired by cats, nature, baseball and the American Southwest, as well as faux Bakelite jewelry reproductions.

Shipping
Processing time: The time I need to prepare an order prior to shipping varies from 1-5 business days. Please see 'Shipping & Policies' info on each individual listing.

Shipping: I ship USPS First Class Parcel with tracking. Estimated shipping time is usually 2-5 business days once it's been shipped, though the USPS does not guarantee this.
Refunds and Exchanges
Guarantee: I guarantee my items against defects in workmanship for a period of 12 months. I will repair or replace it at my discretion and will reimburse you for your shipping and insurance costs for the return. Please contact me first for an authorization code and shipping directions.

Cancelling an Order: You may request a cancellation within 1 hour of purchase. Please use the Cancel Order link at ‘Your Account’ > ‘Purchases & Reviews’. I often process and ship very quickly and once the order has been accepted by the USPS I can’t retrieve it. However, if you miss the cancellation deadline then once you receive the package you can mark the UN-OPENED box as ‘Refused’ and it will be returned to me at no cost to you. Once I have received the refused returned item and verified that it is still in original condition I will refund the purchase price minus the original shipping charge. Sorry, I am unable to accept returns or cancellations of Custom Orders once the work has started.

Returns: If you are not completely satisfied with the item you receive, please contact me within 3 business days of receipt so that I can give you return directions and an authorization return code that will expire after two weeks. Once I have received the returned item and verified that it is still in original condition I will refund the purchase price minus the original shipping charge. All shipping charges connected with the original purchase and return are the responsibility of the buyer unless the return is caused by defective merchandise, shipping damage, item not as described, or a mistake on my part. Sorry, I am unable to accept returns or cancellations of Custom Orders.

Damage: Please contact me within 5 business days if your merchandise arrives with shipping damage. I will make it right with either replacement, refund, or repair, depending on the situation and your preference. I would appreciate it if you would take some photos of the damaged item and packaging to share with me. This helps me determine the extent of the damage and also helps in filing an insurance claim. I am responsible for all shipping/replacement costs involved.
