Buyers are raving!

This shop got multiple 5-star reviews in the past 7 days.

Announcement    I will be away Thanksgiving week for a little R&R. The shop will remain open however anything purchase between the 20th and the 28th will ship beginning November 29th.

My Etsy Shop has been updated with many in stock items that can ship right away. You can also order out of stock items that will be made to order and shipped in 2-3 weeks.

My next restock will be Friday November 19th where I'll have approximately 15 new mugs. Five are winter designs and the rest are some of my most popular designs. I'm also working on a new mug design in speckled clay and a unique handle. They will be my mountain mugs and hope to release for purchase mid December. Follow me on Instagram to see the latest @merakidesigned.

If you are local to Holliston, Ma you can use the coupon code LOCALPICKUP so you won’t get charged shipping and we can arrange a time for you to pick up your order.

I am a small batch potter and do not mass produce so items do sell out quickly. I will continue to produce small batches each month and update the shop as new pieces come out of the kiln, however many of my designs are available “Made to Order” which means you can place an order and I will create your handmade one of a kind piece because although I do reproduce designs, no two will ever be the same. If you don't see something that speaks to you please reach out, I do a lot of custom work and I'm sure I can create your very own one of a kind work of art.

If you are shopping for a gift, I can ship directly to your recipient and your vessel will be beautifully wrapped and include a handwritten note.

Thank you for stopping by and please be sure to follow me on IG and FB @merakidesigned. Sign up to receive my newsletter at www.merakidesigned.com

Handmade pottery with soul, creativity and love.

Meraki (μεράκι) is a modern Greek word which means to do something with love, soul or creativity. It is often used to describe a situation where you put a part of yourself into what you do. That is exactly how I feel when I create pottery.

I started exploring the world of clay 19 years ago, when I took my first class at the Danforth Museum. There was something enchanting about taking a slab of clay and using my hands to shape it into a piece of art. After several years of hand building, the enchantment started to wear off. I hit a creative roadblock. It wasn't until two years ago that one of my instructors encouraged me to try the wheel again. Something magical happened that day. My creative spark was reignited. Thanks to wheel throwing my work has blossomed to new heights.

People often ask me what inspires my pieces. As you'll see in my portfolio, I'm not married to a single style. I let the clay determine what it wants to be formed into. I embellish my pieces with textures or colors that capture snippets of beauty from everyday life; an intricate design on a napkin, the texture on a pile of rocks by the Mediterranean seaside or the glowing embers buried within the depths of a fire.

I encourage you to browse my gallery. If you have any questions about my process, techniques or would like to place a custom order, please connect with me.
