I am a very individualistic, passionate person who loves being around family and friends. I love making quality products that others can enjoy and yes I do the happy dance when I get a sale! The inspiration for my shop was my daughter. She is a talented artist and writer. She, along with my son inspire me every day! I have always been an "artsy" person but it was always something that I did on a personal level, in my choice of clothing, music or in making impromptu crafts with my kids! It was never something that I did as a career. Opening my shop has given me a chance to truly be creative and do something I love and hopefully bring a little happiness in the form of soap and suds to others! I try and make my soaps look beautiful, something that will change in appearance as you use them and will only be created the same way once. I draw my design inspiration from nature, clouds, water, grass, flowers, birds, bees etc. I try to create a certain visual "theme" or "feel" for each soap.

Soap is such a simple thing, but it is something we use everyday. Soap that has a beautiful scent, one that you enjoy, can lift your spirits first thing in the morning. Soap is a part of our daily ritual, this is why I only purchase products that make up my soaps from reputable suppliers. My soap bases, (with the exception of my shampoo and conditioner bars) are made in the USA by SFIC, which have been making soap for 40 plus years and have no SLS (Sodium Lauryl Sulfate) or SLES (Sodium Lauryl Ether Sulfate) in them. The vegetable oils that are used to make the soap bases are farmed by sustainable growers. The fragrance oils I use are under IFRA (International Fragrance Association) guidelines, which is something one should look for when purchasing soap that has a fragrance added. All the colorants I use in my soaps are skin safe and most are natural mineral pigments. The washi paper I use for wrapping can be repurposed as gift tags, used as small craft paper for art projects etc. My soaps can be used everyday, or as that special soap you use only occasionally!

Be adventurous, try a unique handmade product, or try a new soap scent, you may fall in love with it! Plants depend on the sun for all their wonderful life giving properties, so when you use plant based soap, which includes honey soap because bees depend on plants for pollination, it is like giving a little bit of sunshine to those you love!
