Magic, Music and the Survival of the Printed Word
Being a traveling musician and collector of odd and vintage things, as well as growing up in a household where Mom was a Priestess of High Magic, I have Inherited, acquired and collected a library of rare and as I feel Magical Books. They have been amazing sources of knowledge and curating curiosity over the years, from tracking down first editions to being stunned about the knowledge within certain books. I LOVE books! I have collected and collected and feel these sources of insight and wisdom should be shared. I of course had no idea on how to go about that. So I Googled one of the titles and found a Wizard(someone I believe to be, their knowledge on Rare Books is on an Astral level!) selling a similar edition on Etsy. I have bought a couple things off of Etsy before but never thought of creating a store to sell my library as I did not think such interest in books existed, outside my own. Especially in this age of instant access and the internet.
So one look on Etsy at all the Wonderful Curators of vintage and rare books, My mind was blown and Merlin's Monkey was born. The name is as absurd as the logo, a bit of the nostalgic and the mystic, meant to cause a chuckle and raise a curious eyebrow. When your lighthearted, flying is much easier. Learning and passing what is learned is still all important, and can't be forgotten.
